So I bought MEA last night. I'm a veteran from ME3 MP. Could someone clarify how to complete the devices objective? In ME3, do you hit the interact button and your character would kneel down and pray to the gods that four phantoms didn't sneak up on you. You could look around and everything.
With MEA, do I have to hold the button down? (I'd try it but I'm away from my console at the moment, nor do I want to test this in a live game where my team is counting on me). I only ask because I couldn't tell if my devices objective was glitching out or what last night. I was holding down the Y button filling my progress bar when it got half way my character stopped filling the progress bar. I would try again, but every time I would try my character would stop. It might have been my teammate and I were both trying to activate the device simultaneously, confusing the game. Or maybe I was taking enough damage to get staggered (but it didn't look like I was being staggered).
Any insight into how I might avoid letting my team down again would be helpful.
