I played a bit more and I think I'm going to remove Charge. Stuff (yeah, not just enemies ) just get taken by the Singularity and the squaddies kill them too fast . Instead I'm going to pick Overload and go Sentinel. I might also take up a sniper rifle. Maybe. I kinda liked sniper in MET, but not so much in MEA when I have tried it. You are playing on which difficulty level? Because on Insanity (my latest run) Singularity was the key for blocking enemies and killing them, took some sweet time in the beginning Sniping is much harder in A than in OT, because enemies move much faster and evade more, also will go crouching (those b******s ) -- but with some practice it can be really nice experience with Black Widow

Because on Insanity (my latest run) Singularity was the key for blocking enemies and killing them, took some sweet time in the beginning Sniping is much harder in A than in OT, because enemies move much faster and evade more, also will go crouching (those b******s ) -- but with some practice it can be really nice experience with Black Widow I'm on Normal in a New Game +, so it's super easy. I'm almost considering cranking it up a notch... The thing with the sniper rifle is that with singularity + detonators, I will be dealing most of my damage via abilities combo anyway. And sniper work well for the big armored enemies.

The Sniper Rifle can be fun especially the one that shoots exploding rounds but I just found it a bit boring playing that way, more fun to get in amongst it.

Soldier profile I think is also the best for Insanity, Turbocharge with the Valkyrie just demolishes even the hardest enemies.

I think the two most fun powers in MEA are Charge (straight up in the air) and Flamethrower.
Yeah, I love the classic adept builds but there is something cool about throwing someone into the sky, charging them while they are floating them and killing them on the way down. As an aside though enemies really need to take more damage when they fall from orbit. You toss some dude a kilometer and he takes like a sliver of damage, lame. Benefit of the non open world design in ME2/3, they just auto killed enemies thrown off screen.

Yeah, I love the classic adept builds but there is something cool about throwing someone into the sky, charging them while they are floating them and killing them on the way down. As an aside though enemies really need to take more damage when they fall from orbit. You toss some dude a kilometer and he takes like a sliver of damage, lame. Benefit of the non open world design in ME2/3, they just auto killed enemies thrown off screen. I also think they should've taken fall damage, as they take damage when thrown and hit near wall/ground etc. Dang. Missed.

DONE IT!!! I have finally done it. I'v managed to kill all 4 architects withou dying against any of them. It's taken over 20 playthrough's to get ther but I've done it finally.

I completed the game (NG+, 99% completed) on Insanity difficulty and earned the trophy Unwavering. This Ryder was a krogan sympathiser (and wanted to be invited to see Kesh's babies), so Aroane got dropped, Spender exiled, scouts were rescued, the colony got the drive core, and Morda was chosen as a representative - though she still continued "arf"-ing me when I visited her. Moshae's snippy response to not getting the representative seat was a surprise, too, given that Sara chose to blow up the kett facility. Also Jaal was none too happy with this Sara after she shot Akksul. After the silent treatment it was actually a bit jarring when Jaal informed insouciantly that despite receiving a good job offer he still intended to stay on the Tempest. Since this playthrough I deliberately chose those options I hadn't picked the first time around, this Sara ended up being a bit of a hypocrite: she sanctimoniously booted Sarissa but then chose to both let Dr. Aden go free (I got a repentant sounding email from him, but who knows how genuine that was) and made the deal with Primus. These choices also had the unintended result of the Meridian fights feeling underwhelming: I was a bit upset that Sloane Kelly basically just showed up and didn't need to do anything. Well, partially it was my own fault, halfway through the playthrough I redistributed my points for better synergy between skills and this time I had upgrated my pistols. (!!) (Also wow, what a difference does using Valkyrie and Dhan make!) The first time around I had maybe 1-2 points in pistols and when time came to control the sibling, I was caught with my pants down. This time I things went much easier and Scott got to blow the canister in the picture above. I still haven't gotten much practise with grenades (something for the other playthroughs), so when my first - and only - try ended bouncing harmlessly from the floor, you could practically hear the cartoon sweatdrops appearing over my head. Other memorable bits during this playthrough were receiving the Long-Distance Jump achievement that I had fruitlessly attempted with my first Ryder. Turned out jumping off the cliff (because I was feeling lazy) overlooking Prodromos did the trick. I also spotted the turian ark in the sky above the remnant tiller after reading people here mention it. Sara also fought off all four architects: my party was Peebee and Liam for the Voeld one and Peebee and Drack for the other three. I was surprised none of them died even once. I was also positively surprised how useful the skill backlash (the aegis shield) turned out to be during the fights. So now I have started NG++ with a new Sara intending to get the High Performance trophy for unlocking rank 6 for each profile type. I think I like her face most out of the three Saras I now have, since I put most effort in creating an unique face for her. With her I finally managed to pick a different answer to Alec's compliment for doing some independent scouting on Habitat 7. 🎉 (I'd picked the casual answer for four times in a row unintentionally. 😓) I also found out that, if you don't follow Alec's order to help him with the stuck remnant door, he gets increasingly angry each time he calls Ryder - and then it's game over. Going straight from finishing one game to starting another, I also noticed that we meet Hunter Kerry, one of the specialists responsible for second wave revivals, at the start of the game after arriving in Nexus. He instructs a group of people about thawing Hyperion people. Hopefully soon I'll be able to craft a new armor for my new Sara. The previous one spent the last game in armor pieces that grant extra experience points and now I'm itching for something different. I'm definitively going to use the Electrical Conduits augmentation to craft it: during the Voeld medical caches quest an enemy dropped right on top her from a kett dropship and got zapped for their trouble. 😁

I did not actually play, really, though I did look at some stuff in the game* and noticed that my go-to completionist test savefile has a negative number of cryo pod perks available. Another, slightly more recent, Ryder had a different number of total available perks, at the same Nexus Level and about the same number of AVP. So, does anyone have a somewhat 'recent' (i.e., after patch 10) completionist save and would be willing to post the number of AVP, Nexus level, and unlocked/unlockable Cryo Pods Perks? I have another Ryder who finished that game with about 40% completion. So that would take me about a week or so to get that one to the 100% Viability required to cross reference the plot values... *I came across another interesting text snippet, which seems to be from one of the really early drafts of the game: Those settlement types where later reduced to research, defense, and commerce. At first I assumed that those were still meant be buildable, or the player was to get a choice for each colony which type it should be. But instead it seems like those were pretty much identical to what we got as cryo pod perks.

I just finished another journey to Meridian after a little hiatus. This time I used an engineer/infiltrator profile - started as engineer, ending as infiltrator once I put enough points into weapon mastery etc. Power combination for the whole playthrough: cryo beam (first time I used this skill that much), incinerate, overload. Pretty powerful, was fun blasting through the game. On the weapon side I wanted to be more creative, but ended up with a Vanquisher and a Dhan as main weapons (which I probably did already a few times before, although I usually use the Isharay as SR). Some pictures, first of a few bugs I found amusing. Had the path of a hero bug, with the mission tracker not going away, but at least it lead to this funny scene: Then a pretty cool one. Who says there is no night on Eladaan? Peebee and Cora becoming one: Then a question I probably asked before: who else has always to jump on the highest point possible? On Eladaan jumping from a mountain on a remnant structure: In the Krogan Colony (jumping above Morda): And an attack mode from far away, that reminded me of ME1: Now I plan to clean up a little. If I stumble upon more fun situations, I surely will take more screenshots. Edit: oh, forgot another jump adventure. Did y'all notice, that on Eladaan one can jump above the backside (from the outside) of the crashed Remnant ship? Showing the side I mean:

The challenge I liked was driving the Nomad to the highest point I could get to on the planets or at least a weird one like jumping it from a road to a stand alone pillar of rock or the Rock Bridge on EOS. Got to some good high spots on Elaaden and also trying to get to a spot where the Worm hits the sand dunes. I was so excited to find the Batman symbol (your last pic) the first time I found it.

Those settlement types where later reduced to research, defense, and commerce. At first I assumed that those were still meant be buildable, or the player was to get a choice for each colony which type it should be. But instead it seems like those were pretty much identical to what we got as cryo pod perks. Would have been nice to have these as colony options rather than just pod perks. Colony focus:

So probably not, unless you have a screenshot of the game menus... I had a very quick scan of my 7,780 screenshots of MEA (16 PT's plus I am sure there are duplicates thanks to a One Drive issue) and found lots of shots of messages but none of actual menu's sorry. How urgently do you need it? I am just wanting to finish AC Valhalla maybe 3 or 4 more days and then I am going to install a new 1TB SSD that I got for Xmas and clone my old drive. When I do that I'll have plenty of room to reinstall MEA and can check for you.

It isn't really urgent, just something I'm currently toying with. I was scanning the Wiki for AVP rewards, and came somewhere around 150 points short of what I have as max. value in one of my saves (Probably because I missed some intermediate quest rewards from the wiki). So the general range seems to fit. If I understand the game blue prints correctly, then the 'advanced mining' gives something like +3 AVP for each depleted mining zone. But I have no idea whether that means for 'advanced mining' zones and is just no showing in game, or if this is part of the semi scratched nomad upgrade for advanced probes and not actually in the game. Fun fact: Retroactively lowering the requirements for the next nexus level leads to the game triggering the 'new nexus level' popup and sound like every 10 seconds - even after spending that cryo pod point.

I did not actually play, really, though I did look at some stuff in the game* and noticed that my go-to completionist test savefile has a negative number of cryo pod perks available. Another, slightly more recent, Ryder had a different number of total available perks, at the same Nexus Level and about the same number of AVP. So, does anyone have a somewhat 'recent' (i.e., after patch 10) completionist save and would be willing to post the number of AVP, Nexus level, and unlocked/unlockable Cryo Pods Perks? I have another Ryder who finished that game with about 40% completion. So that would take me about a week or so to get that one to the 100% Viability required to cross reference the plot values... *I came across another interesting text snippet, which seems to be from one of the really early drafts of the game: Those settlement types where later reduced to research, defense, and commerce. I also had a surprise (or I have forgotten it) this playthrough, when Knight got shot by a sniper on the Nexus. I didn't expect that at all. I guess in the other playthroughs I always ended up helping her son, but in this one I wanted to do things a bit different, but thought, that she would simply be arrested. I mean, we have a civil conversation and then she gets shot? Why?
