Let's be honest, though, does ANYONE think Addison should be in charge instead of Eos' leader? Come on, do we really need to punish Bradley for being competent? Bradley is awesome. He very politely lectured me on wearing N7 armor without being N7 and that if not for the fact it was my father's, he'd have to kick my ass.

The Moeshe is another who needs a shotgun to the face. YOU'RE WELCOME BITCH! She really made me hope for a Renegade interrupt as well. She got better later, but her whining after you save her if you don't destroy the facility got a bit old. I realise she may have been traumatised, but I really wanted an option to tell her 'Ok, next time I'm going to not get involved and you and your muppets can save yourselves, then you can make your own decisions. Good luck.'

The kett would just kidnap more Angaras and full the place again.

The kett would just kidnap more Angaras and full the place again. Also I think the Moshae is used to getting her way. 115 year old scientific/spiritual leader whom all the angara listen to? She probably figures this weird pink sprog of a human will too, and gets cranky like a grandma when you prove her wrong I like the Moshae. But then again, I adored Vivienne too and they share a VA. EDIT: But back on topic. Addison. Airlock. They have a date. I know she's awful when I look at Tann and think, "You can keep your job so long as I can space this other loser."

If we speak of addison, I don't know if that idea have been suggested but I think there should be something like an ascended glitch with her dead facial animation.
You remember krem from dragon age inquisition? the second in command of Iron bull? Well in the main game there was a glitch that made him unable to sit on the chair, he would actually stand up on his chair A LOT unable to just stay on it. Well in the tresspasser dlc, this was adressed as krem was standing on the chair to look at the singer that he had a crush on. It was a heartwarming moment to explain a glitch and I think it was well done.
Well they could just do the same here, do not fix the animation of foster addison, fix the other character's facial animation but not hers. Addison, let's just pretend she is a cyborg or an evil robot that had problems with her facial emotions and that the real addison died long ago and the one we have seen is a cyborg replacing her.
A bit like that :
I know it sounds like a stupid idea, but I actually think it would make an extremly funny storyline for a small dlc, "addison's revenge". Anyway that is just my idea, of making that problem with her character a part of the character and turning it into a very funny plot.
Is there someone who agrees?

She's not the only one who deserve a punch in the face needs a Renegade style interrupt. I've counted at least six times where I could some Renegade enlightenment. Like these "Wake up my mom now!" protesters. For Shepherd's sake, I woke up soldiers to fight Kett on this goddamn radioactive wasteland while you are sitting in comfort on Nexus. One more word and I will wake up your dear mommy, give both of you rifles and send you running after kett in a desert. Ryder is such a wimp at times. That would have been an amazing outcome. Not only do you wake people up but, to a limited degree, you get to decide what happens to them. Someone might find themselves on Voeld or the front lines because that's where they're needed most. Maybe you could suggest that's what might happen so the outcomes are more realistic.

I actually liked Addison, in a 'I understand and sympathize with your predicament, and don't take it personally' sort of way. She's stressed. She wanted good news. Instead we provided her another bunch of problems, and expect help with ours when she's got nothing to offer. All things considered, she's a good sport who does a good job. She's even self-aware that she's crabby. Honestly, I wanted to offer to take her out for a drink, to help her relax. Actually, she's a bad sport who does a bad job. That's part of why her attitude goes over so poorly. So, for example, I don't like Udina. He's a jerk with high ambitions. However, he's highly competent at his job. Even if you choose Anderson to be a Councilor, Anderson knows that he needs Udina to help him run things. Who actually needs Addison? She's failed in pretty much every way at her job, assuming she's not outright corrupt.

She's failed in pretty much every way at her job, assuming she's not outright corrupt. Why would you assume so, in lack of clear evidence that would remove the need to assume? And what's 'actually' about it? You make a claim about incompetence, but aren't really making a supporting argument that she is beyond that she didn't succeed before the PC shows up. Tann's incompetence is clear because he ruins things that would have gone better without his interference, but it's not clear what Addison got in the way of. Ignorring that the PC needs to be uniquely successful to stand out as a PC, what exactly should she have done- activated the Remnant tech herself without a magical translating/interfacing AI? Some of the crisis of the early game is sitting, but that's a critique of the overall writing rather than specific characters. It's hardly Addison's fault the writers can't allow the construction of greenhouses in space lest the player have no actual crisis to resolve upon arrival. Incompetence implies anyone else could have been expected to do better, but writer fiat would force anyone to fail at that. She's a far better sight than Udina in ME3, who's main policy of his own initiative was a coup attempt with no clear purpose or plausible goal. Cerberus seizing the Citadel compels the rest of the Council races to liberate Earth when they can barely hold onto their own homeworlds... how?

Why would any competent colonization efforts allow scouts to dictate labor roles of specialists who got onto the colonization program in the first place with specific skill sets and purposes trained for? Player character-itis aside, there is at least some argument for deferring to a specially-trained explorers judgements of the initial requirements needed to stabilize/support a new outpost. But that's just order of process for groups that would already do those jobs anyway- not telling scientists to be soldiers because some novice doesn't understand that one race's occupation/insurgency conflict isn't your existential crisis.
