(Another of my self-salvage-threads from the extincting BW Prime forum.) Long time ago in a galaxy far-far away, when the BSN still existed, I was going for my second DA2 PT, and I was hoping to reuse same head for my rogueHawke. Alas, DA2 has no facecodes and\or NG+, so I was trying to figure out the way. I could try to recreate her in CC, but I had not even bothered to screenshot the sliders on my first run. Replaying from the earliest save was not an option too, because this time I had DAA import (vs DAO import). This is what I've found in the old BSN archive back then, reposting it now so that people won't have to look any further. The original solution had been offered by PM78 , but I added some step-by-step details to it. 1. Start a new game with the random default face. 2. Watch the prologue and wait for the first saving spot. From what I know, DA2 does not have any early auto-saves prior to the Lothering. 3. Save & exit. 4. Download the GFF editor ( I used the version from this link) 5. Run the editor and open your SOURCE save ( the one you want to take your head FROM) 6. Navigate to 16950: -0 -16002 SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR -16008 SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR -16950 SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_MORPH 7. You can now see the coded morph in the edit window. Right click here and select "Save to file" 8. Open the destination save file, the one you want to add your headmorph TO. 9. Navigate to the same path described in step 6. 10. Right click in the edit window and select "Import from file", point to the file you've just created. 11. Save your save. 12. Congratz! Your good old Hawke is back! IMPORTANT!:
- Hawke's Family is generated basing on the head you pick in CC. Either make your 'dummy' face at least somewhat close to your former one or use the mods later to fix their appearance. - Mirror of Transformation WON'T WORK on your imported headmorph. Even while DA2 saves have no known actual 'facecodes', the Mirror is going to show the exact 'dummy' face you've left in your CC.
