Developers seriously need to be prevented from releasing games that are not finished and do not contain clear detailed in depth instructions.

When it comes to a game, every single aspect of the entire interface, all the mechanics need to be explained. Multiplayer is such an unexplained mess that it's impossible to even do anything. Doesn't explain how to shoot, take cover no nothing. You're thrown into it and expected to be psychic..Even messing around clicking on things is useless.

I started a tutorial and couldn't even get through it because it said what to do but not how to do it. Example do not tell me to go to a place without explaining WTF I'm looking for. How about stop telling players to go to an icon if you refuse to explain wtf the icon even looks like.

I died on bronze tutorial because I ran out of ammunition and had no clue how to protect myself or get rid of any enemies. If you're going to only allow a limited amount of ammunition then TELL THEM. Don't allow them to run out 1/2 way through the tutorial so they get screwed.

I have killed a total of 3 enemies before dying because there is absolutely no possible way to know where the enemies are (The red dots at the top on the compass are useless and don't allow you to figure out where they are.

The devs need to quit posting false instructions on the screen as well. When I went down and started bleeding out it said press 7 to revive yourself HOWEVER Pressing 7 did nothing at all while I was bleeding out.

I gave up on multiplayer and left because it's such crap.

There are entirely way too many screens both in the menus and in the game and not one of them have been CLEARLY explained as to what anything even is. The whole multiplayer system needs a complete overhaul on it's instructions.

The devs need to create total video tutorials with narration which shows them using, and how to use them, and explaining exactly how all parts of the entire interface work and everything.

Why is explaining how to use all parts of a game so damn difficult for devs..DO you guys want to turn people away from the game.

I can tell you this much, as will most other ME3MP veterans, that was the same on ME3MP too. Most of the information on combos, what worked, what was glitchy, etc. came from BSN.

Almost nothing was documented by BW. And their descriptions of items/powers/etc. were genuinely poor.

The devs probably don't even look at this forum. It's a forum for the fans and run by the fans.

Your whole thread is just whining. If you fail the tutorial, then you're simply shit at vidya and need to git gud.

They actually have a Tutorial this time around. And that's a huge boon.

To answer your questions:

The first thing i suggest you do is look into your Keybinds, to understand and memorize your moves and options.

To protect yourself from your enemies either approach anything that looks like it could be cover; OR use Evade option; or a Jump to where you are out of their reach. Late when you have consummables, you an revive yourself or medigel yourself or use powerful Rockets to kill bigger threats. The Revive will work (7) once you have the limited consumable supply of the packs.

The enemies in the tutorial can be dispatched by either your combos or shooting them easily.

The rest of the Tutorial is actually rather good and self-explanatory.

We work together and figure it out, most of us have been playing Mass Effect t from the start. If you start in single player it will make MP easier when it comes to using kits, the detailed instruction covering everything in this game would be so long no one would read it, sttp learning curve for noobs no question but it's worth it.

The op has a totally legit complaint. A tutorial of itself only goes so far. If there isn't already their should be a detailed pdf document with images and explanations.

This game has caused learning issues even for hardened m3mp vets, so it will be much worse for newer people.

Also seeing as BioWare, EA has no web forums the vast majority of players will not be on this site or even know about it.

A totally legit complaint by the op that sjhould not be dismissed.

To be fair, compared to the GSF Tutorial, this one actually has relation to the game, and you can try new classes on it so, yeah.. The biggest problem is that nothing in the Tutorial has Armor and Shield, so you are not shown at all how to strip those in the new game. It would be nice if there was a mode that let you study all the bosses in the game. Oh, well. Learn by dying on those :)

I can see OP's point. I am finding the new stuff of MEA is taking some getting used to. I did find the tutorial rather basic and easy--too much so. I then thought I launched a second tutorial only to wipe on wave 4 and realize that I was doing a solo with my level 1 Turian and Avenger. :hithead:

This will be a game of learning by doing--the hard way, and then sharing
that hard-earned knowledge with fellow BSNers.

I think you're a little sensitive here. What he's saying is the toothpaste is out of the tube and at this point if you have a specific question maybe someone can help. If you want to vent, that's all well and fine but venting isn't going to help you in game. BSN people are douchy but also helpful with newer people. It's nothing personal but if you take everything that way it's probably going to be a rough life. That said I think we're all a little pissed about certain aspects of this game.
