So I'm planning on buying an Xbox Scorpio if it comes out later this year. Since every game on Xbox One will be backwards compatible on the Scorpio I'm wondering if I can copy or transfer everything over. I really don't want to invest a lot of time into multiplayer if this cannot happen. I know that game saves are saved to the cloud but I'm unclear if multiplayer data is saved as well. Does anyone know if I can transfer multiplayer data to a new console? Or am I doomed to start with a crappy Avenger again?

If you're using the same XBL account you should be good. But maybe check with Bioware tech support to be sure.

As long as you use the same account on the new console you'll be fine.
