Silvery's "What is your favourite alien race.." slide is quite interesting. And, I will add that Bio has even more granular metrics. So, these results are of no surprise to them.
Having said that, the five most favourite races is what most of us anticipated. The Asari is a no brainer. But, showing the Krogan at 10.6% and the Salarian at 7.2% instead of the Turians sitting at 22.3% tells me it was a deliberate decision to exclude them from the Trailers. Why? To make it a surprise of course.
Here is my team selection based on the survey and some tea reading:

I don't understand why a lowly 7.2% makes it.... unless the Qs and the Gs are also a surprise.... as cameos anyone?

I'm guessing that we won't see two races on that list as squad members. My guesses are the turians and salarians. I'd bet 10$ that there will female turian. Salarians probably won't make it to the squad, but might end up in ship's crew. |

I wrote about that in the Old Official Forum (that closing bastard...): the number of squadmates must be pretty limitated, but that doesn't mean species out of the squad won't be present in Andromeda. Maybe we don't have turians or quarians or salarians in the squad this time, but definitely thay should be working as NPC crewmates in the Tempest or just being present in the Ark. |

I wrote about that in the Old Official Forum (that closing bastard...): the number of squadmates must be pretty limitated, but that doesn't mean species out of the squad won't be present in Andromeda. Maybe we don't have turians or quarians or salarians in the squad this time, but definitely thay should be working as NPC crewmates in the Tempest or just being present in the Ark. Oh yah. The reason that I think that asari and krogans are gonna in the squad are because of the leak and the E3 trailer. No one sits on their haunches (at least I'm guessing that it's right after we see the brute looking creature with green slime attacks us) and has that level of detail if they aren't on the squad. |

For both sexes of whom and what it has to do with femturian? If I were a developer? Two humans for Cerberus fans. Turian, krogan and asari because they are expected by fans. One or two friendly andromedians, so players wouldn't feel like galactic invaders and could get locals' point of view on Ryder's actions. |
