The Old Guard (Ye Olde Cullen Thread v4.0 + gen discussion)

Well, it is done. BSN Prime is read only as of about 11 a.m. CDT. I has the sads... 

Yeah, it was a little earlier than I would've expected. It's like... I should've heard taps playing in the distance.  

Yeah, shutting it off at noon, on a Friday, during vacation month, is part and parcel of how much concern I think was given the users of BSN. Which is to say, basically none at all. 

At least we mostly made it out alive and whole. To quote Ellen Ripley, "The structure seems intact. They still have power."

This whole thing... no concern was given to the users of BSN. I get that they (read the Devs) were mostly posting elsewhere, but it was still a good place for people to come together. Certain threads were certainly toxic and venomous, but you learned to avoid those. I'm just surprised, as many others are, that BioWare now has no outlet that's run by them in the way of forums.

OK, I'll get off my soapbox now...
