Well, at least we can put that fear to rest!
Meant to post this the first time it came up: it's the loading screen from the MP so it's not a game spoiler, but clearly shows a BSG style AI hanger with a bunch of SX3 ex-alliance fighters ready to roll with the APEX squadron.
This plus:
Shows we came prepared to handle ourselves: not far enough into the story to know what armaments the ARKs or Nexus have, but I'm guessing at least the Turians put guns on theirs (they made a number of modifications to their ARK according to the Codex) this is available right off the bat in the information.
