To be honest, not trying to sound elitist or something like that but this early it is kind of a waste of time to try to join games on gold or even silver. Scrubs on gold (and even silver) lobbies 24/7 thinking theyre gonna finish wave 1 with their lv 3 character that they just unlocked and have no idea how to use with an avenger II and a katana... what? I dont understand why people dont stick to the difficulty that they should be doing

For the people that wanna grind hard from the start and try their best to seriously attempt gold this would be an amazing change, even if I have to wait a long time for someone to join, right now this is pretty much impossible to do

But i usually look on APEX score before levels. If a person has a high APEX score but a low level, that person is likely to be able to handle himself better in Silver than someone with low APEX/low level, or even someone with mediocre APEX and mediocre level (8-10).

Yesterday i played with a few level 5-8:s with 1500+ APEX, we completed over 3 full Silvers (random enemies/maps)

No issues getting silver extractions, can generally gauge the chances from the lobby....play gold with friends far too many free riders but they were in ME3 so nothing new there

This was the same common complaint as ME3.

I know once I could carry, I didn't mind carrying at all. It does suck when you NEED a good team since there arent any real gods out there yet.

Soon enough there will be a lot of people helping others level their kits.

I extract from silver all the time, but I have to do everything myself and use a few missiles and other stuff to even get to extraction wave because I dont wanna wipe and waste 15 mins and not get those credits.

Actually when he said infiltrator + Avenger I started taking him seriously, all the high level ppl I have played with on gold seem to be using those 2 plus kroguards, its lame how the avenger can turn invisible whenever he feels like it. So far the best character in the game, and everyone that Ive met that plays him acts like theyre the best players in the world too when its mainly the character carrying them

I agree with what you say. But I was eluding to the fact Kalas was a good player back in ME3MP. So he could probably jump right into higher difficulties.

In the current moment - yeah sound good.
But down the road this is not quite cool. See in ME3MP i had a team ( and still have ) of really good player to play whit. We all had good weapons and mods ect. So often one or two of us would bring our level 1 characters at gold or even plat and proceed to grind quick exp while the other team mates carry us. I expect to do the same here as i currently focus on Asari Adept and havent touched much of the other classes.
