I've bought only 2 Expert packs so far and both had 1 rare each. Plesa keep us informed on the result of the EA support ticket and GOOD LUCK. Experts are only guaranteed to have 1 rare though. I have not had this happen a single time with premium packs, I wonder if they're glitched right now or for you. I've opened maybe 30-40 premium and have gotten at least 2 in every pack. Yes, that is my point: they worked just fine. |

According to EA Support Chat, it appears the glitch is limited to one player, namely hoovsbin. That's so typical of my luck. I have JPEGs of my screen shots showing the glitch and sent them to EA along with my Andromeda Points Purchase Receipts. I have screen shots of Premium Packs with all Blue/Commons or with only 1 Rare; Expert Packs with all Blue/Commons.
My initial Support ticket was CLOSED by EA Support for no reason, so I had to make a fuss with EA Chat a second time to reopen. I almost wonder if the initial EA Support Chat liaison thought the JPEGs were photo shopped?

Someone in a later thread stated that to increase the rare drop rate, you need to max out the common items you have (e.g. buy more basic/advanced packs until statistically a rare drop is more probable). However I think it's a bit misleading on the developer side since the algorithms to determine drop rate should have been more robust to accommodate for this occurrence. You know people will want to buy the deluxe packs, you know people want the rare weapons, the damn description indicates that you are GUARANTEED 2 rares. TL;DR Life is unfair and they took my moneys. On another note, has anyone unlocked the ultra-rare Krogan? I was in a lobby with someone that had it but they left a minute after they entered the lobby, so I guess there are people getting it. |

Seven (7) of the ten packs that I purchased were all Blue/Common cards. I should have received at least 20 Rare cards, and I only received 6. The MEA Store is literally fraudulently stealing my money through purchased Andromeda Points. I've reported this glitch to EA. Was in this blue cards some amplifiers rank III and IV? Because they counted as a rare and ultra rare respectively. Check your inventory. |

I'm afraid you may be correct, Spectr61. As a test, I just purchased an Expert Pack that has a 'guaranteed' single Rare. I got 5 Blue/Common cards. And I thought DAI RNG Store was bad! I also been 100% sure ripped off buying that same pack. Stood like 10 mins checking every card's rarity and reading pack description. Ripped off XD Bioware should fix it and give some free packs, and problem solved. Otherwise this will snowball pretty fast |

I don't need this aggravation in my leisure time, and I guess this kind of nickel-and-diming bullshit is going to turn a lot of people off, much like their focus on churning out Cartel Market trash nonstop over actual content is running SWTOR into the ground. At any rate, it's good to know. I only wish I had found out before purchasing. |

The bug is that consumables are always blue, when they should be colored appropriately. |

My platform is PC.
In my original post, I incorrectly stated I was buying EXPERT and PREMIUM PACKS, and receiving only Blue/Common cards. This is not correct.
The reality is even worse.
I am receiving Five (5) BLUE CARDS - CONSUMABLES/BOOSTERS in an PREMIUM PACK, which should have as a minimum 2 Gold cards.
Blue, no diamond - consumables and boosters
Bronze, one diamond - common
Silver, two diamonds - uncommon
Gold, three diamond - rare
N7, four diamonds - ultra rare

I have a screen shot of the 5 Blue card Premium Pack, but the upload states the ME Forum has exceeded it capacity for uploaded images. I've ran into this, as well, trying to directly upload an attachment/picture. If you use a third party image site, like imgur, you can just copy the link for a forum and paste it in- it will insert your picture, with no issue.  |

Welp, you did get two level 3 consumables, which SHOULD be gold colored. You also got a level 2 consumable. Thats 2 rares and 1 uncommon. Unfortunately, it still sucks and shouldn't happen often imo. |
