It would be great if I could get some honest input. I put 1337 hours into ME:3 multiplayer. If I buy this game it will be to play for >500 hours, so it's a big time investment.
1. No official forums. This is a red flag for me, are they gonna support the multiplayer at all, they clearly care nothing for player feedback.
Also does the PC version have controller support?

For number 1, I am not sure how they get feedback. Probably twitter or reddit. For number 2, yes, there is controller support on PC.

They likely will support the multiplayer. They did well in ME3. The bigger worry is if they'll fix the problems it currently has. I think you'd be fine buying it for the multiplayer though, it's fun and easily will last enough for your money to be worth it. Just gotta deal with some frustrating things like being disconnected, random crashes, and the sound cutting off. But these should be fixed sooner or later.

Considering that people are buying AP like hot donuts,I am pretty sure we will get lots of additional content.

For number 1, I am not sure how they get feedback. You can bet your proverbial backside that people at Bioware are reading these forums, as their job as well as on their own accord.

You can bet your proverbial backside that people at Bioware are reading these forums, as their job as well as on their own accord. That would be nice if it is true. Well, I hope it's true at least. It's very likely for several reasons. For one, it's unfiltered feedback, the best kind of feedback. (Software) Companies would never say this but what they want and need is the raw opinions. You can't improve your product on "tell us what you like in 140 characters". What you need is someone telling you your UI is shit and why. It's also a gauge on the general position of the community which is helpful for product management and PR. Then there's always the curiosity of the people involved. If you're at least somewhat passionate about your job (which most of them are), you generally want to know how the product you're associated with is perceived. And that means what people think and not what the marketing/PR makes of it. And last but not least, quite a few people on the team are surely playing themselves and want to be part of a community just as much as us.

Looking at the Apex app I have already put in 30+ hours in alone for mp so as you can tell it is really fun.

For me it comes down to how much of a thing I call Failure Tolerance you have.
If a game functions smoothly 95% of the time, then you only need a 5% Failure Tolerance. This is about how much I have. ME3MP was easily within this range.
If a game functions smoothly less than 90% of the time, then it's going to be very difficult to maintain a player base, because most people do not have a Failure Tolerance greater than or equal to 10%. DAMP failed hard because of this.
So far, MEAMP does not appear to be achieving the 95% smooth functioning rate. That's 19/20 matches without crashes and/or disconnects.

Not having a forum based access to report issues to developers was my only concern, I don't do the tweet thing...getting feedback from the staff in ME3 was fun and educational, not sure how we get through to them as there are lots of issues, not a big thing but tech and bio explosions for example in challenge's are not registering, far more important things to fix but at least in ME3 we could let them know.

Thats a great way of processing it! Luckily so far in MEAMP ive been one of the lucky few who seems to be having less problems than DAIMP or ME3MP - theres been a fair bit of small jitters but thats it. It may be due to playing on PS4, which typically has a larger playerbase to matchmake from than PC or Xbox one.

It's a bit like the convenience of going to a party at someone else's house. If you host the party yourself, you have to deal with the drunks and the vomit and folk complaining about the music. This would be a TL;DR of my views on the forum closure. Sure, devs still pop in, but now they are not obliged to deal with the patrons...

Bugs are supposed to go to the mess that is the EA Answers forum they noted.
