I started this as a post in General feedback thread but decided to make a separate thread as the list is quite long and certainly incomplete. Just tell what cosmetic things annoy you and ruin the immersion.
I have a few cosmetic issues to note. These are by no means game breaking, just annoying and show that the game is very unpolished.
1. There is no gore, enemies just die and turn to dust, the cerberus is drunk thread is dead like dead. Bioware, please patch in some gore. Also include enemy screams when they are headbutted or mutilated. Not when they are headshot, no need to be extreme here. Kett for the most part cannot part with their head even after a headshot, the animation is simply missing. Most other humanoid enemies are fine though.
2. All melees apart from headbutt have similar animations, well, including current so-called heavy melee. I understand, it has substantial cost savings. But different races cannot have same melee animations. It ruins the immersion. ME3 had it done, well, ME3 had actually a lot more artwork and unique animations. I specifically miss asarigasm, that was ingenious including the sound.
3. The enemies are awfully silent, apparently mute or whatever. It somewhat ruins the immersion. Even if they do something, they do it quietly. The only characteristic sound comes out of krogan mercenary from outlaw fraction and even that is not reliable. I miss cerberus radio banter and marauder shields bzzz when buffing up husks and cannibals. I don't miss banshee screaming but I miss that sound of geth prime when he casts his drone and turret.
4. Light melee, even headbutt have low impact. There is something wrong here with the force or the force is not projected into animation or effect, not sure. It is purely aesthetic but ruins the immersion.
5. Grenades bounce a lot, and a lot, I mean a lot, a bit too much. Not that it is impossible to hit anything, no, by no means, you can hit something with it. They have just, well, some rubber casing apparently. This is not so important, just ruins the immersion and should not be hard to patch, just add some weight to them. Or make them charge before throwing. Sticky grenades are fine though.
6. Angara insurgent's trip mines are not working half of the time every time. They don't explode and just stay there like talon mercenary mines in ME3 on some laggy hosts. Here, they sometimes disappear and sometimes the whole map is just full of trip wires.
7. IDK why and I don't care but there are no race-specific voice overs. If your shields go down, the same voice tells you to take cover for each character. There is only one voice and it is not a narrator. Aren't we supposed to have some krogan or turian voice overs? Like it were in ME3? Or at least male/female? I'm not sure about Angara, know nothing of the lore, have not player single player.
8. Objectives are secret, there is no announcement, I don't count something like "Just hang in there" as a hearty congratulation on assassination of 4 important enemy targets. Can't they add like silly old "Good shooting" or something more formal? People are confused in pugs. Also, end of wave is not shown and not announced.
9. And maps are a bit bigger yet number of ammo boxes seems to be the same. Glacier had 3 ammo boxes, for example, and it took about, well, maybe 10-15 seconds to run from one to the other. In MEA, even if you know where to go, it takes about 20-25 seconds which makes it impossible to get ammo after the end of the current wave and before beginning of a new wave. Depending on your location of course and it changes with lag.
There are multiple other things I missed or forgot. I hope Bioware is working on these things, they certainly improved the sound with the latest patch.
tldr: Move along, nothing to see here.

I think this pretty much sums up my biggest problems with the multiplayer as well. Other than the technical issues of course. There's also the problem that very few of the weapons are viable compared to others. Rather than tradeoffs or sidegrades there's flat-out tiers and there are very few in the top tier.

Comparing the two MPs at launch, ME3 was a far more polished product, even with the vanguard glitch.
So glad I saved the money.

btw totally unimportant but kinda OT: how come that Salarians are that much taller than Humans?! didn't notice that in ME3... Looked really funny in the lobby: 3 Humans (kids) and 1 tall Salarian (teacher) the Human Ark probably had a bad malfunction during cryosleep - hence: human arms & legs are way too short anyway

I agree. I *really* want to love this MP but there're just way too many bugs for me to truly enjoy it. When there're a lot of stuff going on, things just LAG for me. Could be my PC or my connection but I went back to play ME3 the other day and it wasn't as frustrating as playing ME:A lol. Not many liked the Talon Mercenary and trip mine has always been super buggy back then, I don't get why the fug would they include this again _-_
And for the love of god, please disable mics on default =.=

This is why Wraiths and Adhis almost always kill me when I'm behind cover. Not only are they silent, but the vibration feedback on my controller from their attacks hitting me is low so I end up not realizing what's happening until my shields are broken.

They have just, well, some rubber casing apparently. This is not so important, just ruins the immersion and should not be hard to patch, just add some weight to them. Or make them charge before throwing. Sticky grenades are fine though. Yeah, grenades behave more like tennis balls than ME3 grenades. Apparently impact fuses are a 2186 invention because you can no longer throw a grenade at an enemy and have it explode as it hits them... instead it will bounce off harmlessly, into some corner where it will explode safely and happily no one was injured. You can cook frags before lobbing them, though. Not sure if this is what you were referring to by "charging". In general, the game has less... personality? than ME3MP. Guns feel less distinct, same as characters. Everything you listed adds to this. Some things probably will get better with time as content is added, but some things are part of the core design and will likely remain the same.

Now, I wish they actually fix these little annoying things instead of releasing some ultrarare character/weapon and half-ready piece of map at this point. It's not like people have already maxed their manifest and run out of things to try.

The A/B/C uplink - oh my gosh this irks me - A krogan can fart and it gets interrupted. Someone can sit there and it will go from green to orange back and forth with no one moving. I'm thinking what the heck is going on here? Bioware Pls. I can understand if someone is jumping out of the uplink area but sheesh. This is the the worst of the four I've seen. Of the ones I've played I've seen a couple map failures due to this one glitching even when people were alive and trying to uplink. Might just be me, but I think enemies entering the ring interrupt the uplink. Kill them to keep it going.

1. There could be more, but there is quite a bit now. Perhaps ragdoll time could be doubled, but that's really a thing that might not be a good thing on consoles with level 20-X-25P characters using the best weapons say during a hack.
2. So much agree
3. Enemy chatter could use about a 50% increase in occurrence, 'easily' done.
4. this a kineaesthetics thing, and I doubt BW will want to spend the time and money to fix it, since it covers animations and sound alike.
5. much agree esp on launchers, where the whole point is accuracy
6. have not used the insurgent and only saw one have mine issues
7. uuuh, there are totally voices for each character saying very obvious things "just don't stand there being the hero, get down" "who need shields anyway" "great, now I'm hungry" "grab a wall, ruckhumpers" (at least on pc)
8. is a confirmed bug
9. pretty sure there are four per map minimum

Nostalgia can be a wonderful thing, but ME3 multiplayer at launch and the word polished should not be used in the same sentence, even when comparing it to MEA. Oh, and I'm glad I spent the money.

I just got through playing the Asari Adept and biotic explosions were plentiful and very noticeable. Had a couple of games with another AA, and I most definitely heard their 'booms,' along with all of my other teammates triggering BE's with Annihilation active. Enemies are not silent...I hear all of them very well. Granted there is some silence with many (excluding elite/boss types) until they engage, but it's not a big deal. I prefer it that way. User error?

Only 2 of those points I care about. Enemy sounds and gore. Banshees were annoying AF, but at least they had the decency to announce themselves. Oh and 1 more; krogan laughter. I don't need any banter from other playable characters, but a raging kroguard who doesn't scream while kicking headbutting absolute ass is not a real krogan.
