I will be honest here. I just aim for center mass most of the time. I think the enemies move faster, so my aim is not up to par yet. I just quick shot the body for most.

It's host vs. client crap. With a bad or even just mediocre connection I can stand around with a Vanquisher I or an Isharay and a turian soldier and shoot an outlaw raider in the head about three times and never hear that distinct snapping noise whenever you land a headshot kill.

Whatever they are doing with the connection this is not how hitscan stuff usually behaves. Makes me doubt the possibility of fixing itself if they screwd hit detection at such a deep programing level.
Besides, seems like this game has some unavoidable input lag on every plattaform. Some are getting higher than others. Check this:
Saw an expressive amount of people on reddit reporting similar complaints. On pc there were some guys as well, but I believe with vsync and stuff off it decreases a lot, but never reaches a perfect response time. There is a residual amount I believe everyone is at the very least having to deal with and that makes aim a lot harder at this game. Even those who can't tell it and say their game is running ok are problably having a slighly decrease accuracy due to this.
If you boot ME3 you'll notice how easier it is to do some quick aim shots
I expected so much in terms of polishment to Andromeda due to using the Frostbite Engine which so far has been great on other major titles and thought a lot of rough spots on ME3 were somehow because Unreal 3 is outdated but I now truly believe Bioware needs to overhaul their coding team

I have no problems doing quick headshots off host when playing with my European friends.

One of my teammates last night said all weapon's fire now had a bit of travel time. Is it possible that we have no true hitscan weapons anymore? A hitscam, if you will.

One of my teammates last night said all weapon's fire now had a bit of travel time. Is it possible that we have no true hitscan weapons anymore? A hitscam, if you will. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's not the problem. You can headshot stationary targets and get bodyshot damage off-host. It's pretty aggravating to be honest. I've had some success aiming for the throat area on humanoids off-host to claim headshots. I can get 5-10k higher scores as host than I can as off-host because it takes far fewer shots if you can target weak points consistently. Unfortunately, as many people seem to have the problem, it takes 10+ minutes for people to join in via matchmaking when I try to host a game, so the only way I get host is if host in another game leaves and it passes to me.
