My female Sentinel is like Stardusks guide (and is an awesome build) and I'm Currently trying a barricade focused Sentinel. Still undecided on throw vs energy drain but leaning towards throw.
Good to see others have thought to incorporate barricade in their sentinel builds.

Yesterday i tried the Human Sentinel, but i was focusing around barricade and guns instead of using it as a caster. I maxed out barricade, taking max duration and the evo at rank 6 that primes enemies for tech combos. I must say duration evo is a must for barricade. Throw and passives for max recharge. With fitness xax damage reduction. Im only at level 12 atm. Maxed barricade first, then passives, now i'm trying to max fitness for max durability, then throw. Energy drain i will leave at 1 point only. I'll try to spec throw for fastest cooldown and biggest force. Not certain if i take double throw for double tech explosions. Or what if i take energy drain to max and only one points to throw? Or both at 4-4? I have yet to play around to find best settings. But already at only one point in both i feel really strong with this build. I don't want to tell it is more efficient compared to the "Stardusk way" with leveling up energy drain and throw to max. I just have to say it was a lot of fun. It is a really strong kit on gold if played right. I can literally barricade myself in the middle of the god damn battlefield anywhere every time i want to. Doesn't matter if theres no cover, because i'm creating the cover with barricade. It also boosts my power or weapon damage, it helps me recharge shields faster etc etc. I lost my shields? Barricade and it helps recharging it fast. Enemies closing on me? Barricade. I have to disable devices and i'm surrounded with lots of enemies? Barricade. Teammate is disabling a device? Barricade to help protect him/her. In one game i was literally holding on my own an upload objective against the whole enemy team with 2 gold berserkers and a hydra literally standing in front of my nose. Enemies also must go around the barricade. So if placed right, i can keep them outside my barricade and constantly primed for tech detonations. Even if they dont do that much damage as in ME3 stunning the enemies all the time is really helpful. I must say before i tried i was quite certain i will fail with this build. But i was proven wrong and had lots of jiggles while playing with it. I played with snipers, but i imagine this build has a good synergy with many other guns. Hurricane, Scorpion, Talon will certainly work. I haven't tried the charger yet, and don't have the equalizer so can't comment on that. But any decent long range or close range gun will work i think. I'll try out some this week. I pointed this out in the first page. It's a lot of fun with barricade maxed with electric discharge. Fits my aggressive play style. Currently maxing out biotic/tech challenge mastery's. Once completed, i'm going back to sentinel. I'll proly try this build the next time I play sentinel: 3/6/6/6/5

Nice to have you and your guides back. Will check out once I get home. Editing in: Alrighty that was a nicely enlightening video. Human sentinel was the first kit I ventured into gold with in ME3 and you got me inclined to do the same in MEA. I'm probably still stuck in a late stage ME3MP state of mind where fitness was not that big of a deal; spawning mechanics, RHA, and III-IV cyclonics, etc all got hardwired into playstyle (mine at least). All of those factors and more are much different on the new battlefield. Between my 10 hours of gameplay and your video, I've been convinced to focus more on the fitness tree. Solid point about the barricade power, pun mildly intended. Are they solid with respect to enemy position? That would be a significant change form the ME3 equivalent Geth Juggernaught shield -- and would have implication for camping strategies. There must be some locations on the map where barricade placement would block enemy access, maybe by extending a wall past their jump jet height. Yeah, once I realized how nice some of the Fitness trees are, I saved up all my points from ranking up the Common kits to dump straight into fitness. The survivability lets me do one Bronze to jump them to 3, and then go to Silver, and at least be able to live and contribute.

Jij bent nederlandse mens? 'Tis fijn.
