Whenever I set the mission settings to an Apex Mission and hit "Join Match" I almost always end up in a lobby for a normal custom game. And if I try to "Create Match" for an Apex Mission nobody ever joins.
I've managed to complete both my bronze Apex Missions today but only after 20 or so of tries to "join". I don't even know if it's a bug or a netcode glitch so I'm posting it here.

I tried once to join an APEX mission and it worked (although the game was already on wave 3). The best way though is to make those missions with a group of friends. They are usually much harder than normal ones and you know how good the average pug player is, right ?  |

Yeah, same thing's been happening to me. I've had luck with creating a match and starting it solo. During or right after the first wave, the group fills up.

I guess it depends on the player who started the game, if he has Apex still available it will Apex, if he already played it and is just farming, it won't.
