I'm starting to wonder if I am building/playing this character right. I can do fine on silver but I really struggle on gold. Another player using her in one of my games was able to run around on his own the majority of time and survive. I maxed out charge and lance while putting nothing into backlash. I didn't take the radius upgrades on either of them and took the upgrade for lance that consumes shields at rank 6. On charge I took the rank 6 that fully restores shields. How do you build the duelist? I also think I'm not using backlash enough/properly. The cooldown time for it seems inconsistent.

I haven't played around with Lance as much as I'd like but I only keep it at one point and use it to set off teammate explosions. I am going to max out every other power. I take the 75% recharge cooldown on charge so I can almost always have it ready to use. The last evo of barrier also gives you 100% of your barrier if your health falls down 25% I believe. Backlash is good to use when waiting for charge off cooldown. I am going to spec all into her melee because she has a lot of buffs to it.
But it might change when I have more time with her. (said in creepy old man voice)

That's what I've been doing but respecs have been hard to come by in packs. I'm not trying to waste my mission funds on them while I'm saving up for the juggernaut shield. |

Now that I have thought about it, this character could be the new slayer vanguard.
Lance rank 6 B lets you have zero cooldown but drains your barrier. So if you max it out for pure damage and then take full barrier on rank 6 of charge you might be able to do some serious damage.
I am thinking there are really two good builds for her, straight melee which will ignore putting points into lance. Or the new slayer build I just mentioned. I will give them both a try since this is the kit I am working on right now.

Backlash seems to have some sort of CD reduction if you lower it before it breaks. Asari Sentinel has a LOT of Power synergies in her different Skill trees, and Throw is coming back pretty darn fast, all things considered. I'm doing a 6/6/6/6/1 atm, with Tech Armor being the 1. |
