I tried the Zalkin for a few bronze matches. Seems to be some type of charge weapon where it might be most effective if you go around keeping it charged? Was playing a Salarian Infiltrator & never liked those type guns while using tactical cloak so put it away for later/diff character. Not gonna say garbage quite yet!

Well with an AR Barrel X and at level 4 or 6 it does nothing on silver... |

Definitely the worst weapon in the game. It's beyond pathetic. It's significantly weaker than the avenger assault rifle of bitch-slap.

The charge mechanic seems unreliable to me. In the time it takes me to fire a charged 3 round burst, I could have tapped 12 rounds.
Maybe it's better onhost.

The problem is the shots travel speed is to slow, so moving and shooting with it charged, which I tried a lot, doesn't work very well. I think it's best used when in a static position, I have Zalkin II and the damage is a little bit better, but I think it's not efficient enough. Will try again once leveled, but it's not very good for me atm |

The Zalkin was the first non starter gun I got and used..
Was very disappointed, never used it again - and unless some balance changes happen to it to improve it, never again.
The charge seemed unreliable. When trying to shoot as fast as possible I noticed many times that I'd be holding down the trigger and it wouldn't be firing because I had started charging too early, making it's DPS laughable in comparison to any other gun right now.
