The "How much money I've spent on packs" thread

For me only the 5750 points for £36.

I can justify that cost for myself on top of the price of the game given how long I intend to play this for - but the UR character card system is a real pain. 4 characters that will likely be my favourites are all URs - kineticist, duelist, avenger and now the gladiator... 3 of them looking like really fun biotics and also given the N7 shadow was my favourite character from me3mp.

But no.. I'm stuck grinding with the base human adept (one of the more fun non UR characters) until unlocking those more fun biotics. :/

I wish Bioware had just given us limited kit customisation rather than forced power sets, then locking potentially fun power sets behind hours and hours of grind and rng.

I spent $50. I wanted a bit of an early boost and ended up with the Hurricane SMG. I can say it's been quite a boost to my performance.

The problem is that it only tempts me to spend more and more money in the store

I did that for ME3MP when I (drunk) wanted a Harrier, dropped about $200 (which didn't get very far with manifest development - and no, i didn't get a Harrier).

Then as I played that game for another 1600 hours, I had an epiphany, why did I rob myself of the thrill of earning a pack and opening the new goodies? IMO, when you buy packs with money, they feel like they are worth less when you roll them in game from credits earned. To each their own.

I know everyone is in a rush to get all the best stuff at high levels, but I intend to play this game for a while longer, so I want to stretch out that new game feel ..

I got the super deluxe edition. I'll buy all the DLCs and will probably spend another $100 on premium packs.
