So, as a male going for another male I think I only have two options. Been flirting w/ Gil and he's ok but I know there's another dude I'll meet later. If I lock it in w/ Gil, does that limit my flirting ability, romance ability, w/ the next guy? Or does the actual "dating" option only come in the story after I've met both of them?

You can romance both Gil and Reyes and they don't even notice each other ore referring one another. The developers didn't have enough resources to put in a lock for gay guys.

Yes, there is a lock for everyone, you can't romance Reyes and Cora at the same time or any other companions, but you can romance Gil and Reyes at the same time. It's not an open relationship, they just don't recognize the romance between each other on top of them being the only 2 non-squadmate romances. |

I'm not even kidding. Yes, there is a lock for everyone, you can't romance Reyes and Cora at the same time or any other companions, but you can romance Gil and Reyes at the same time. Yes, it would, bad design would imply Bioware care about gay romances. lol, just so you know, unlike other romance LIs, Gil wouldn't have updated talk after story missions unlike other romance LIs like Cora, Liam. Reyes option is not optimized for guys, so some parts, Scott will stare at the ceiling instead of Reyes because the height difference between Scott and Sara when they make the scene and someone will refers to you as Reyes' queen, so Scott has female pronounce during Reyes romance, his romance also doesn't a resolution like other LIs, and you can essentially make a Ryder that looks very similar to either Reyes and Gil because both options don't have unique faces like Liam or Cora but created from a character creation like most NPCs in the game. Gil's romance is also the shortest out of everyone. All I'm saying is don't set your expectation for a good romance like Kaidan. |
