Hello!
As the title says, so far I've only been able to have fun as biotic characters. And I do't like that.. I've tried different infiltrators, soldiers, etc. but haven't enjoyed a match as those kits. If I'm not causing biotic explosions every 5 seconds, there is a lack of joy.
And I wish it wasn't so. ME:3 MP I could play as anyone - use any weapon - fight any faction, on any difficulty and have a tremendous amount of fun. Andromeda hasn't done that for me, I've found every game as a non-biotic to be somewhat boring. Especially trying to run a sniper loadout.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Any fun non-biotic characters/weapon/builds you could recommend that you've enjoyed? Because unfortunately the MP is already feeling stale when the only character I can find consistent satisfaction from is the Asari Adept. And I think potentially it stems from the game's new faster pace, where I have a sense of always gotta be moving.. what do you guys think?

You could try the Human vanguard, Nova has a (limited) priming ability on its last evolution, while still biotic, the game play should be very different though from other biotics though.

Tech builds explode everything as well. And maybe you have to get better gear to enjoy other builds? Hoversniping is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it, pun intended. At least for my buddies that did.

I enjoy biotics but I actually prefer gunplay. Sadly, there are only a few weapons worth using so gunplay is pretty boring running vanquisher every game because everything else is subpar.

If I'm not causing biotic explosions every 5 seconds, there is a lack of joy. Wait, what? There are biotic explosions in MEAMP? Because I've been playing as an Asari adept for a few hours straight, and I haven't noticed any. It's probably because the audiovisual effects are completely different absent, that I haven't noticed. *shakes fist*

You typically can either prime, or detonate.

I can't have fun unless it is at the expense of others.

I have the same thing, just with soldiers - power stuff is not really my thing, shooting guns is Who is this soldier that mostly has skills to enhance gun play? As far as I know they also have mostly caster powers.

As far as I know they also have mostly caster powers. I run with the Turian Soldier currently. Have not spent points on granade, but went with Turbo Charge, Fortify, and fitness and munitions. This gives me one power to really keep an eye on (Turbo Charge), the 'nade I cast if I feel like it.

How do you feel about turbo charge? It felt like a super long cooldown and not up most of the time.

I am the opposite. I can't stand playing any biotic class, and I only get enjoyment out of being an infiltrator.

It felt like a super long cooldown and not up most of the time. Turbo Charge (Maxed for duration, damage and mag size, and maxed Munitions) coupled with Thokin 7 does the following for me on Gold; 40-45% damage against a Hydra, 55-60% on a Zerker, kill of Anointed, Observer or Devoted. So I use it mostly for heavy damage NOW, rather than every time it is up. The Thokin can keep regular enemies at bay, so no real reason to use it every time it is up.

It would be much more enjoyable if my biotic combos actually did any damage. If I have to prime, detonate and empty half a clip from hurricane to a red bar gold mook, then something is seriously wrong. I have only played adepts so far in mea and other classes look really tempting atm.

I like my biotic classes, the asari duelist is awesome fun, the asari Sentinel is great, and I really want to play the gladiator !!!
But I am having a heck of a lot of fun with the salarian operator. Kermit is amazing!!
And the Krogan engineer and the human engineer are both solid characters too. And the Krogan Mercenary is a dragon !!!

I started as infiltrator. HATED that scoped aiming seems impossible on the ps4. Even the slightest touch on the stick makes the crosshair JUMP way too far!!
Human Vanguard next. Never looked back.
