1. Go easy on fetch quests, they are useless 2. Hire capable writer, especially for the main story arc 3. Learn how to develop a relatable character 4. Focus on the exploration side, try to copy some ideas from the Freelancer series. 5. Use an alien PC, Asari, Turian and Krogan PC could save any disaster BW made.

It is true, their are no bi female squadmates in any of the Mass effect. I am talking specifically about your squad not other romancable characters. I wasn't talking about just bi romances, but squad romances. That's because there are gay/lesbian squad mates. I don't see why you need bi ones. Because for once a female protagonist and male protagonist should be able to romance female and male Human squadmates. Their are no gay/lesbian squadmates, their are straight ones and bi ones. Their are gay and lesbian options though, Suvi and Gil. Peebee is bi, Vetra is bi, Jaal is straight, Drack can't romance, Liam is straight, and Cora is straight, my problem is the human squadmates are never bi, expect Kaiden who suddenly turns bi in ME 3? Yet Ashley couldn't?

Just my opinion.

I like Suvi and Traynor a lot but it would be nice to have a romance with a bi female human who actually fights by your side. The past 5 human female squadmates/companions have all be straight. I would have liked for one of them to be bi or a lesbian, prefer bi as then both male and female protagonists have the chance.

Multiplayer Concerns needing fixes1) Lag and ULTRA Lag ! 2) Attack of the Black screen ! 3) Sound cuts out without reason or warning during multiplayer matches. * Still happening in June 2017 ! 4) Characters get stuck on obstacles and environments. 5) Points / challenges not being recorded properly for example biotic explosion kills. 6) Complaint about having the Enemy bosses spawn UPON the HACK HERE objective ( the one with circle on ground ). Really ? Allowing the enemy to SPAWN RIGHT UPON THE OBJECTIVE makes it so much harder. No way to kill the Boss Enemies ( Walking tanks etc ) in time to clear the objective. Shouldn't the enemy spawn elsewhere and THEN try to stop us ? 7) My male Engineer CANNOT JUMP to the second level of the Sandy map. OMG ! Other characters can make the jump at what looks like a folded construction crane - but this guy is having serious difficulties. Okay - who sabotaged my jump pack ! 8) Krogans were nerfed ! They lack expressiveness. WHAAT ? Krogans don't ROAR properly ! "C'MON ! ROAR LIKE YOU GOT A QUAD !" 9) Expression are lackluster and without enthusiasm. Where is the BLOODLUST ? ! 10) REAL KROGANS LAUGH WHEN THEY KILL ! "HA -HAAA !" They CRY OUT ! THEY Belt out BATTLE CRIES ! 11) KROGAN HEADBUTTS are weak ! W HERE'S THE "KIAAAA !" during the Headbutt melee ? 12) REAL KROGANS MAKE BOLD DECLARATIONS ABOUT HOW THEY WILL EAT THEIR ENEMIES ENTRAILS ! AND SO ON ! At the moment, expressions are delivered in a conversational tone - not a BATTLE CRY ! 13) Enemies sinking into the floor..... "Look ! Shadowcat musta dragged this guy into the basement ! Only his head and shoulders are showing above the floor now !"14) Enemies audio cues don't always sound when they are supposed to. 15) Biotic ammunition is conspicuously absent from the game. 16) Player Characters occasionally get stomped into the underside of the map by the factions. 17) My Player Character was attacked by an Adhi and was knocked behind a wall and could not get out for two rounds ! 18) Multiplayer Game completely crashed and game had to be restarted. 19) EA connection is struggling and we had to change our party arrangements because one of our group was not allowed to re-join after being kicked out of the game by unknown glitch. 20) My player character became afflicted with a SLOW MOVEMENT SPELL, and could not run anywhere for about four minutes. Dodging barely worked by no apparent explanation for getting anchored in place. 21) Peer to Peer Option is entirely lacking. 22) Due to repeated lag spikes and ( I don't know Bioware enemy movement designer - you tell me....) it appeared that the Kett Fiend was teleporting. I understand the idea....a big fierce enemy, a living tank and bullet sponge, fine. From our perspective, the Fiend was 20 feet away and then suddenly APPEARED within striking / CHOMPING DISTANCE. Chomp it did because even with my team mates calling out warnings, 3 out of four of us were rapidly stomp/chomped by the Fiend. We are UNABLE to determine what a relatively safe distance might be with this teleporting enemy. We assume the teleporting is unintentional. 23) Player character trips over low cover on the manufacturing center map. 24) Enemies NOW able to TRACK invisible / cloaked player characters and shoot the shit outta them ! * Since last patch in June. 25) Three weeks of the same de-buff penalty is TOO MUCH ! -25% shield, -25% health, This is BORING, and Unimaginative especially since there is no explanation for why such a debuff in in effect in the first place. What - are there ALIEN SPORES ? TOXIC GASES ? Fumes from a LAVA FIELD ? FREEZING TEMPERATURES ? A COMPLETELY ARBITRARY DE-BUFF IS JUST BORING....AND DUMB. 26. Remnant Observers seen dodging through walls and ceilings to avoid player character fire ! 27. We ( my regular player comrade and I ) consider the Upload Challenge to be unfair. It is unfair to lose one's uploaded progress because we were forced out of the circle to survive, counter the enemy, get resources - or for whatever reason. Also doesn't make sense that in this advanced future, our hacking tool would lose that progress and have to begin all over. GUNS - GUNS - GUNS
My favorites so far for use in MULTIPLAYER.
Pistols. N7 Hurricane : Pistol : Best all around weapon. Scorpion : Pistol : Best for killing Observers and Snipers. Assault RiflesM37 Falcon Grenade Launcher ( grouped with Assault Rifles ) : My first choice during Assault Rifle Focus Missions. Sonad: My soldier is having fun with this weapon lately. Revenant : A secondary choice for those Assault Rifle Focus Missions. Shotguns
Disciple is my first choice. N7 Crusader is a close secondary choice - better ranged shots. Reegar Carbine Shotgun : Fun to use, Very effective, Short range. Dhan: Shoots a FIREBALL ! Effective. Three shot magazine. Sniper Rifles
Naladen : My first choice. Good damage, four round magazine. Unfortunately creates a HUGE SMOKE CLOUD with EVERY SHOT ! WTF ? Isharay: Heavy damage. Takes too long to load. I can't wait that long. Preferred by my regular player comrade. Indra: UNUSABLE due to to bouncing of rifle barrel during firing. Using stock mod does NOT help. SEND THIS ONE BACK TO THE LAB / RANGE FOR A REBUILD ! Observations and some disappointments1) Why do all the Asari look alike ? They are WAY too similar, makes me think I wandering into an episode of the "Clone Wars !" 2) I sure miss my Justicar, her biotic "bubble of death" and her Lancer ! 3) While the new multiplayer feels 30 to 40 % faster paced and has all these dizzying movement options, the powers of the characters seem weak in comparison. So far I prefer the Engineer characters which seem the most effective to me in doing direct damage to shielded enemies and armored enemies. 4) So far, the new multiplayer hasn't won me over, I still prefer the action of ME3. At the moment I'm hoping some MUCH NEEDED patches will help improve a few things. 5) While creating combo explosions apparently do damage to enemies, it doesn't seem as impressive an effect when compared to M.E. 3. The visuals seem lackluster. Perhaps this contributes to my impression that combo explosions and all character powers feel underpowered in M.E.A. 6) Human enemies lack character. The Mass Effect 1 enemies would run around and shout such gems as: " I WILL DESTROY YOU !" and " ENEMIES EVERYWHERE !" By contrast, while the Raider Faction looks good, they are entirely silent -except for the Roaring Krogan Berserkers. What nobody has anything to say ? 7) Not very excited about the guns. Lots of choices but very few I take a liking to. So my motivation to unlock mediocre guns is low. Storymode Concerns1) Item management needs some improvement. I can't easily tell which items count towards my 50 item limit. Some things do, some things don't. 2) WHY is there no locker on the Tempest to dump items into ? Not having a storage locker on the ship is ridiculous ! 3) Regularly there are NPC characters are facing away from Ryder and are up against a vehicle or a wall so one has to jump into a weird position to interact with them. 4) Sometimes Ryder needs to get to that AVP console, collect research and other rewards.....so WHY do we have to leave the planet to do that ? Why can't she just get onto the ship, check the console and stay on the planet. Hello, we're jumping to orbit for no reason ! 5) During female Ryder's experience of her father's memory - the one where the family is reuniting, Alec looks over to his daughter - AND SHE IS INVISIBLE ! He is looking at an empty space - AND HER DIALOG IS ENTIRELY ABSENT ! 6) When Resistance leader Evfra speaks privately with Ryder on Aya at the end of the conversation - HE WALKS RIGHT THROUGH HER ! AAAAH ! 7) When Ryder speaks privately with the Governor on Aya when allowed to explore the city - I paused for a moment came back - and found TWO GOVERNORS IN THE SAME ROOM ! ( ATTACK OF THE CLONES ! ) AAAAH ! 8) Whenever Ryder is trying to complete the platforming or vault challenges, the NPC supporting characters always get too close, they get in the way while trying to follow, don't stay in their assigned spots and generally screw things up - especially the time / environment based challenges involving platforming. "GET OUTTA THE FRACKING WAY - YOU PILE OF ELCOR DUNG ! AAAAHHH !"
9) Whenever Ryder is fighting enemies, including REALLY, REALLY BIG BOSS ENEMIES, - the supporting NPCs get in the way as they try to follow her and interfere with her dodging for cover moves, block power shots, sniping shots, and regularly SCREW THINGS UP ! "GET OUTTA THE FRACKING WAY - YOU PILES OF VORCHA DUNG ! AAAAAHH !"
10) When spawning out in the field on some planet, NPC supporting characters sometimes appear 12 to 15 feet in the air......AND STAY THERE ! Until we jump into the Nomad. 11) Enemies occasionally spawn 12 to 15 up in the air. 12) Dialog wheel isn't purely an emotional or logical choice and the symbol icon gives almost NO CLUE as to whether the resulting words will be what I want my character to say. Many times, I end up saying the opposite. This is very frustrating. I'm unhappy about this because it can take an hour or so to play a loyalty mission and I'm debating about whether I really want to go back and replay the whole thing. ( Not at the moment. ) Yet it's upsetting. The Dialog wheels need to give a better sense of whether we approve of something or disapprove. Whether we are sympathizing or distancing. Whether we are expressing sympathy or disgust. These things don't come across as clearly at this time unfortunately. I would say this over ambiguity is true in 40 to 50 percent of the conversations ! 13) The Angaran special forces guy can't deliver his reward after Ryder completes his challenges ! HE'S STUCK AND CAN'T SPEAK ! Appreciation !
1) I appreciate the diverse characters and characterizations. As Ryder travels along with Peebee and Draxx the characters are revealing themselves and their faceted personalities. 2) Krogan Vanguard is growing on me - though he still does not ROAR or express with TRUE KROGAN SPIRIT ! "BLAM ! "HA-HAAA !" 3) Enjoying the Asari Adept's Annihilation power ! 4) Really Enjoying the Loyalty missions ! I like the variety amongst them. 5) Liam's Mission was a lot of fun. Unexpected events, and lots of humorous moments. I laughed ! 6) Enjoying the Infiltrators, and looking forward to trying out the Sentinel characters in Multiplayer. 7) APPRECIATE that new maps are gradually being introduced ! * June 2017 8) APPRECIATE that new enemies are gradually being introduced ! The Roekaar * June 2017 FEATURES We'd LIKE TO SEE !
1) HAZARD MAPS ! In Mass Effect 3 we had environmental hazards that made gameplay more amusing / challenging / tactical. This element is missing in MEA. 2) INCREASED REWARDS for completing missions with fewer players. 3) CHALLENGES to players to complete missions with only two characters of particular class types. Let's say, one infiltrator and one sentinel. Appropriate Rewards for completing such challenges. 4) The new maps in rotation. Why leave them out of rotation ? 5) Quarians and friends ! Oh OH ! * Edits / Additional Notes ! April 2: Added more multiplayer observations, Story mode concerns, and Appreciation ! April 3: Notes re: Krogans have poor expressions, lack enthusiasm, and Ferocity. April 5: Note re: invisible female Ryder during her father's memories. She's invisible and has NO audio either. More multiplayer bugs noted. April 10: Biotic ammo ? Story glitch found. April 12: Kett Fiend. Multi-Player Game crashes. April 17: Started to report bugs on EA MEA site: answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/mass-effect-andromeda-bug-reports-en/ Yet since I've listed so many things here, I will keep adding concerns as they come up. Added comments on Infiltrators, Sentinels, and my disappointment about the guns offered. More about guns later. June 17: Added - "What we'd like to see ! Problem with enemies tracking invisible characters, listed some favorite and least favorite guns. June 18: Observers seen passing through walls. Complaint about the Upload Challenges as unfair. Stay tuned for more !

An Improvement I would like to see would be a storage locker/chest - probably on the Tempest for storing mods and augments that you aren't using but still take up inventory space. This would also be good for storing items you want to keep after their use is over (eg Pathfinder Elite helamet).

- More planets to explore. The game is too small and leaves me wanting more. - More post-game content - More post-vault changes - quick saves

-Animations need some serious polishing. Last night was talking with Gil, and at one point they both started laughing, there was ZERO, 0, nil, null...expression on their faces to suggest they were laughing, same ol' dead stare, frozen faces and half opened mouth. -Quick save needs to come back, period. -Remove those annoyingly long animations when going from planet to planet. It was ok the first few times, but it became huge time waster. Travel animation between systems is ok, and i even like the sound effects of it. -Why does the Tempest needs to leave the planet when all i wan't is to enter it to check mail, AVP, talk to crew... In fact, why can't i check my mail, AVP status...using my omni tool? -"Favorites" system makes no sense at all on PC. We have so many keys, and yet, we're forced to use the radial menu to select a favorite to be able to manage more than 3 skills. It's restricting, it's stupid and adds nothing to gameplay and immersion, but rather takes away. -Tone down (like a lot) SAM's "warnings" about environmental hazards and mining areas. I get it SAM, it's fucking cold and i can mine for minerals here, no need to tell me about it every single time. -Voeld is buttugly and boring planet. Why would anyone go and live there. -50 items limit? Really? -Mining is mostly ok, but my God is it annoying when you can't find that one spot and the place is stuck on FAIR. -Scanning planets makes no sense. Oh, we detected an anomaly size of a country, 56 IRON. Really? You can get that much from one or two nodes on a planet. Oh, anomaly detected. It's a satellite which gives you 270 XP, for what? What did we find on that satellite? The whole planet scanning was just shoehorned to be a time waster. -Asari look stupid ugly. Same face model with different patterns. It's lazy and reeks of "fuck it, we don't give a shit".

So far...
I'm disappointed by: - lack of dialogue options. Apparently morally grey really means 'two shades of paragon.' I miss my renegade Shepard. Was hoping for something other than... this. - relationships with crew. I was expecting rivalries but seems like everyone just gets along, no conflict, no drama, just sunshine and butterflies and Ryder can only ever be friendly to anyone she meets. Boring. SWTOR was 100% better and it's an MMO. - CC. Too limited just like the dialogue options. No pale skin tone. All NPC's seems to be either black or asian too. - Angara are too human. I was expecting to find something new and exciting in Andromeda, not more of the same. - Why are all Asari clones of each other? - Story and characters lack drama, conflict and darkness.
I like - I'm loving the combat. Jump Jets are great, melee combat is so much fun and I actually like that the class restrictions are gone. - Exploration. I love exploring all the new worlds, searching for remnant tech and doing the sidequests. It's really fun. - Overall I like the game, but it's some of those things listed above (most importantly: lack of dialogue options/forced default paragon personality/lack of choice and control over how your character behaves/too much autodialogue/no conflict and drama) that are just a massive disappointment.
I'm not done with the game yet just gained the angara as allies after rescuing their Moshae, but these are my thoughts so far.

If they had at least did that, having Miranda, Jack, Cassandra from DA:I and Cora all being straight only romances, wouldn't have been as frustrating. I think I can imagine Tali being bi, I don't think it wouldn't have been much different then with Male Shepard. Are you playing ME: Andromeda yet? Have a preferred romance in mind?

Love the game and only have a few complaints from my experience with it:
- Weak villain in the Archon. The Kett worked for me, but this guy seemed to dissolve to just a really cheesy action hero movie villain by the end. Horrid dialogue during the fight.
- Weak final boss fight. I loved having to work with the twin for this mission and seeing everyone show up, however, I don't think it was executed quite right. The actual battle itself was boring.
- Inventory space limits make me want to bang my head against a wall sometimes in frustration. Like all games, I adjust to it but it sucks that mods take up space.
- Sometimes it can get frustrating trying to get to the top of a mountain to get something you need and the only way to get there is through one specific route. I can take anywhere from 30 mins to an hour in the most extreme cases. Luckily, it's only happened a few times.
- Romances reflect in plot missions.

I could be wrong I thought I remembered that but now I'm not positive. As far as ME:A not yet going through the series in order but I plan to play as Sara and either Peebee or Jaal. Ive read up on the game with my guide, luckily no spoilers.

my biggest problem and disappointment are the side quests and exploration, all boring tedious repetitive fetch quests, the same mistake as in DA:I
i love the characters, combat is fn and fluid
but 3 powers only! wtf

I would love to see the CC updated to allow us to make changes to the default Ryders. Change hair style, hair color, eye color, makeup. Even if they locked down the facial geometry and just let us make those kind of cosmetic changes it would be a huge improvement. Also some lighter skin colors is desperately needed. I can't even use any custom Ryder's because they all come out looking way too dark.

Okay now that i have played more than 40 hours i want to give some feedback. I've been on EOS and VOELD only so far, so can't speak for the rest of the game yet, but i believe i can say stuff because i have been diggin deep into each aspect of the game instead of rushing it. ************* Graphics ************* -The grafics are astonishing! I had difficulties trying to find the best configuration for the game but eventually i found it. Strangely, when i put autodetect, the game suggests everything on low, even using a 1050 gtx 2gb, i5 4460, 8gb ram...go figures. Maybe it's because my processor isn't that good, but it deals with the game pretty well, but 8gb RAM seems to be less than ideal for running the game into high-ultra. So, i got some education about each grafics settings, including the Tripple buffering, HDR, vsync, etc..and found there's a website which actually has a pretty good elaboration on all of that for the game. It was so helpful that i will let it here if anyone want to check it. It really can make your game run better and with higher fps! www.digitaltrends.com/computing/mass-effect-andromeda-performance-guide/#/3-4So, from a suggestion from autodetect to run it on low, now i am running it on High, with some stuff on medium, and around 55-60 fps, which is pretty good to me. It's not so smooth when comparing to everything on low off course, but if you change vsync and other things according to that guide, you will get rid of tearing and stuttering magically! Now i can say that the game which i have been playing is actually much more interesting and beautiful. I wish i could run it on ultra, but the difference isn't that much after all. I just wanted the autodetect to be more intelligent or more detailed because idk why it suggested running on low when i can run it con medium/high with different settings...Also, i couldn't find a way to optimize configurations using NvidiaGeforce Experience. Idk if it simply doesn't have any optimal configs yet or whatever... The Effects on the Vaults, the beauty of the sky in Voeld, the snow, the icy caves, the sand in Eos, everything makes me stop and admire this game....congratz for that Bioware! It was worth to opt for hand-craft those worlds instead of going procedural generation. I only hope they can improve compatibility and make the game run better somehow. ********************** Audio ********************** Well, this part is not that great. Really. I don't know if i'm the only one here experiencing this, but the sound in game looks low even on high volume and i have already tried all the modes (cinema, night etc). That being said, The sound effects look pretty good though! Sounds like sniper shooting, jetpack jumping, the nomad wheels on the snow, everything looks very well crafted in this segment. However, i cannot say the same about music. It's boring, it's low, it's emotionless. I don't feel amazed, or inspired, or anxious etc as with other games like ME2, or Inquisition (pretty good musics on both). I know you guys opted for several low profile artists instead of big guys, but maybe that wasn't the best choice to rely on, specially when you are trying to reinvigorate a Series which has been known also for it's beautiful music. Not that the musics are horrible, but when compared to those before, it is much worse. Another thing that makes me annoyed is the fact that even playing for several hours, it seems that the game has only ONE music, i feel like i'm listening to the same babysleep songs for hours, loading screen music is like only 2 notes that keeps repeating themselves on a really low pace...it's so boring. People have been claimin some of the music comes from another games, like the vigil song from ME1, and other music from inquisition. I don't know for sure about it but it kinda reminds me a little, indeed. *************** Quests *************** The Journal looks well organized, you can easily see which quests are for each place or which type of quest you want to do in a given moment. however when not in the Journal, the game lacks a way to help the player know if the quest he is following right now is a priority mission or a sidequest. You could put the markers in a different color for example, so the player wouldn't need to constantly check on the Journal if it is a sidequest or not. Other thing i miss is a minimap or a least the distance from the quest's locations in the radar. I know when you approach a quest location it shows you the distance, but it would be better if the marker on the radar got bigger the closer you are or something like that. Side quests seems too boring, i don't feel like it is important somehow, even thoug it's fun to actually go there and meet new people, get to know new places in the well crafted world. But once it is done, i kinda think: "wait, this quest is only that?" like: get some medical supplies here and there and okay thanks Ryder! they don't evolve into something surprising or deeper.... They don't need to be so complex like a main story but i would rather prefer fewer sidequests but with actual good plot than lots of boring sidequests just to make sure you go all around the map...Scan 16 fucking rocks scattered around the map? really? and the nodes aren't even different from the rocks back on milky way! it's iridium, platinum, etc. No problem using nodes to collect materials etc, but don't make this a quest....Unless it really matters to something important on the story or to get some really good gear from it because it's SUPER TEDIOUS to go around scanning rocks and stuff like that. I know, i don't need to do that, but since i decided to actually experiment the game in its full potential, and also i'm a completionist by nature, i had to do it. About the Main story quests, i have little to say because it seems i am still in a part that doesn't evolved much in the arch, so i'll keep my feedback low profile here. I can only say that it didn't cause any big impact on me until now. I really like idea of the pathfinder not being a super soldier, and more like an axplorer, it keeps things weightless in a sense that i'm not expected to fight Galaxy Reapers, but i have a big role. Main quests made sense up until now: get to habitat 7, back to Nexus, go explore a bit, find resources, wake up people, stablish outposts, it's fun to do all that and it feels like you are actually accomplishing something, differently from the sidequests. Sidequests doesn't need to be necessarily uselessquests. The idea of scanning rocks, grabbing medical supplies etc is not horrible, it actually helps in the fight, but the thing is its boring as hell and it could be written in a way that what the player needs to do or the stuff in which ig gets involved while doing the quests, get more intriguing, more important. I wanna feel like: "whoa, i'm glad i chose to do this quest, because now i know something that increased my knowledge in the universe of the game, or revealed some secret, or changed the way things happen, or meet some new important people, stuff like that. ************** gameplay ************* Very fun, very fluid, the vertical movement added with the jetpacks created a whole new dimension to the game! it felt like jumpting from 2D games for 3D games. I felt more freedom, even more than Witcher 3, which is the official comparison it seems now and then. The cover system feels easy but it doesn't actually work as easy or as effective as it could be. In Mass Effect 3 i could dodge from a cover spot to another easily and effectively, now i can't. I mean, i could use jetpack to slide but i become a target while in movement so often that i think three times before change from a cover spot to another. Sam goes for Jumping, you don't want to jump in battle unless you have lots of shields or else you're gonna die because Kett doesn't like flying people, not a bit! They will stand there, doing nothing, not shooting at your squadmates at all, because they are only waiting for the moment you are going to make a jump with the jetpack to snipe you ASAP! I hope i get used to it but i admit i am not so happy about the way cover works. At least i don't get stumbled upon it, like it was in some cases in ME3 for example. This was solved. The consumables and loadout systems are horrible. I don't know why i can't change wepon mods while playing on a mission in the planet. Just found a new wepon or armor but can't equip it....i don't care if it was already this way in other games, but i want to be able to actually change not only mine, but also my squadmates gear, fully, anywhere and whenever i need or want. The way it is now, it feels like: "okay i can carry tons of equipment in some magical bag but i can't even equip my guns or change mods out in the field? that's not fun. I wish i could use the consumables i find in the map, not only the ones in a previous loadout. This way i could use cryo ammo here, incendiary ammo there, or shields capacitors here and refill ammo there...it's an RPG isn't it? so why limit this? it's understandable to have a limit to carry wepons and the weight systems is great, affecting recharge times, but make consumables available anywhere. It doesn't make sense: "okay i ran out of disruptor ammo and i have lots of inciendiary ammo in my magical bag, but i can't use them, unless i go all the way to a foward station." Now, The Vaults internal puzzles are fun, the lights and consoles, shields. I like how it works. Grab some info here and there, then experiment changing stuff to see what happens, it has everything to do with a pathfinder in a game of space exploration! However, if i wanted to play sudoku for hours, i would rather stayed in the Milky Way! lol damn those glyphs. I have been able to solve them fairly fast, since i'm an engineere and thinks logically for the most part, but it still bugs me sometimes. It is a challenge indeed, but not fun. It would be okay if the game had one or 2 big and hard puzzles like this, on which you could get frustrated a lot for a given time but eventually you pass on and find some other kind of puzzle, but resolving the same boring puzzle everytime is definately not cool. Eventually, if you think different, you will find a way to solve them faster, but at the cost of several minutes of tedious thinking. Maybe you like solving those, that's okay too. I just don't think it's a good idea to try and put some kind of puzzle repeated so many times in a game, whatever the puzzle is. It will become boring inevitably. Well, i have more to say on the game but i think that's it for now. Just felt the need to express my feelings on the game in an honest way.

I never heard that, but could be because I discover Mass Effect quite a while after ME 2 had already been out. I don't get how or why Kaiden could turn bi in ME 3, yet Ashley couldn't. I could be wrong I thought I remembered that but now I'm not positive. As far as ME:A not yet going through the series in order but I plan to play as Sara and either Peebee or Jaal. Ive read up on the game with my guide, luckily no spoilers. I am romancing Peebee as sara, and Suvi as a custom Ryder.

I mostly love the game so far, but their are a few things that bother me and I am sure others. 1. There has never been a bi female squadmate in a single Mass Effect game! Ashley, Miranda, Jack, Cassandra from DA: Inquisition and now Cora. I am so tired of them doing the obvious default choice for their DA and ME games. It's like they have a checklist Human - check / Female - check / Squadmate - check = Yes you are 100% straight. Liam is human male squadmate = straight. Cora is a human female squadmate = straight. I get having an option male and female options for both protagonists, but it doesn't always have to be the beginning two squadmates. Ashley and Kaiden + Cora and Liam + Cassandra = all straight, except who can suddenly turn bi in ME 3 but yet Ashley can't. Not all bi squadmates/companions that are bi have to be aliens or elfs Bioware. 2011 was the last Bioware Bi human female in Isabella, none since. How do you feel about it? 2. I no some like him/some don't, but I hate Jarun Tann's voice actor, he sounds like and amateur guy pulled off the street or something. This is just my opinion, I have actually never had a problem with a voice actor's voice before, until now. His voice just really doesn't fit well to me, anyone else feel that way? 3. I think that is mostly it for my problems, I am enjoying the game overall. I do wish character customization could make more unique characters, but can live with it. I love the squadmates so far and I am having fun. What are your rants/venting problems with the game? What do you like about the game? 1) Bi characters are tricky. Well first of all the cost more to create develop and dub (multiplied by all the other languages versions.) But even tho, this is very very hard to write at the first place. In DA2 all the base romanceable mates were Bi but not that had an impact on them they just woulddn't care because Hawke was "so smexeh" See as a person/character, you sexuality doesn't define who you are but it is part of it. The prism through you're looking at the world is teinted by it. And you need to ask yourself: What making this character "bi" would add to it? Is she bi by nature? Design? Social convention? The most usedd trope by BioWare is "Your character is that impactfull that your chosen LI would love you no matter what gender you're" and that's worst. This is very tricky and i'ld rather have no biu characters at all than bad written one (or not relevant) 2) I can't tell: I'm french so i've a full french cast to listen to... With its own problems but different (we have a bad Liam for exemple) 3) Awesome! CC is what it is but in the end it shouldn't prevent you from having fun

CC is what it is but in the end it shouldn't prevent you from having fun With 5 years they could have made Cora a bi female human squadmate. I am tired of all human female squadmates/companions lately being only male romances. Cora could have been bi, and they wouldn't have really had to change her attitude. But they always stick with straight female and straight male thing every time. First Ashley and Kaiden, Miranda and Jacob and now with Cora and Liam. I know A lot of people who wanted femshep to romance Miranda, Jack, Ashley, yet every human female is not romancable for female protagonists. Same for those who wish to have maleshep romance Jacob, or Kaiden (except when he suddenly turns bi in ME3?) and now it's Liam. My problem isn't that their are no bi females to romance, just that they are always aliens, elfs, or secondary characters. When it comes to trying something different with their human squadmates, they have no imagination as they are always straight.

There should be diffrent fauna on thosse planets, same worgs, spiderthingy, lizards, bigfoot and spitbugs, seems odd. Only Havrl has the flying thing that can never get close. And as exploring you never land on an untouched planet. No civilisation that is not FTL capable, or just an organic planet, in its baby steps to grew.
Mining, when you hit big its hardly even enough for an armor.
Let your Apex squads matter, in end game. Let hunting party actually do something for the Nexus, same with mining, Instead of setting up a probe, be some nexus ppl there actually mine stuff for the Initiative. I stop mining since it did not really matter, and to stop the anoying SAM.

I should start by saying I think this is a GREAT game, and I already spent 84 hours in it and still not finished the campaign. But, the issues are there in this game too, naturally, as with most games. 1. Character generator and facial animations, this is such a weak part. The eyes of the protagonist look like he's on drugs (dilated much). Dead stare, all of that stuff. It's poorly made and what I consider the biggest flaw of the game. 2. Combat, I dislike that we don't have access to more skills at once, like 6 skills would be fine. For consoles they can keep the 3 and do the favorites swap, but remove the cooldown reset that happens so people can actually have fun with the skills they level up to get. On PC we can have 2 favorites with 6 skills each. We got a keyboard for a reason. These are my only two real issues, but I'm still absolutely loving the game. I really am. I agree 100% with this statement. The facial animations are a bit wonky at times especially the eyes. I noticed mostly with Asari that their eyes are just looking around all the time while talking. I can live with poor facial animations as long as the story and dialogue is good, which I am enjoying so far. Playing on PC only having 3 abilities available at one time is a issue for me. I really dislike having to switch profiles to be able to use different abilities. The CD starting when you switch is stupid and unnecessary. Please bring back the hot bar back from all the previous ME games. I really liked having 8 slots open for abilities. I find myself rarely ever switching abilities while in combat because of the CD. By the time I switch and they are off CD the fight is over. I have been using incinerate, charge, and nova as my main abilities, I would love to also be able to use singularity and lance without having to switch to different profiles. I think the profiles are fine if you want different benefits from them but the favorites is not a good system and needs to either be improved or removed and replaced with a hot bar for PC.

Hi there After playing MEA for a while, I have to say I love it. So far I don't have a lot of complaints, other than some things get a little repetitive after a while.
I can't help thinking of Startrek - 'We come in peace - shoot to kill'
A couple of things I'd like to see in the game in future:
1. The ability to drive/fly other vehicles in game. There are plenty of other vehicles lying around, be it the kett transporters, their hover bikes etc, or the big trucks the outcast use, or the smaller all wheel drives found on Elaaden etc. The crawlers and other transport vehicles, the shuttles, escape pods or other flying type vehicles.... It would be fun to try them out - or even hijack them on occaision, when you're miles from a forward station and the nomad is a no go.
2. It's a little annoying, that everytime you want to do something on the tempest, it first has to take off into space. Why not make it so, that if you need something from the ship, you can just board it. The choice to fly or not should be once you're in the tempest. Sometimes you just need to go back for something, but not necessarily leave the planet. Like organising AVP's etc, checking emails etc.
3. The one thing I'd DEFINITELY like to see is, the ability to do the story line in coop. I have a friend who also plays, and it'd be grand to be able to team up, with another AI or friend, to do the story and sidemissions. The current Apex missions are pretty much shoot anything that moves and survive for several waves. Gets boring after a while. (IMHO). Either way - the ability to put a team together, a mix of friends/AI would be grand. Doing the story line together as in solo mode would be much more enjoyable for me as a player.
4. A few more opportunites for romance would be great too - once you've made a wrong comment or response, the ability to flirt seems to disappear. At least with a couple of the AI's it seems I've screwed it up. I've kinda wandered into a dead end.
5. Also cool would be, being able to blow up kett tech - once you've cleaned out a base, it'd be nice to destroy whatever they've left lying around, buildings, vehicles etc - or even confiscate weapons or vehicles, anything that can be used. Blowing up their stuff would certainly slow them down, and hopefully prevent them from respawing there again 2 minutes later.
Not sure if any of the devs read these comments, but it would be nice to know these comments aren't falling on deaf ears. I'm sure I had more ideas, but can't remember at the moment - I'll add them in later if I remember.
Be interested in any comments or further ideas. Cheers
