EA needs to evaluate the benefits for a remastered trilogy and possible added content. Fans should be used to waiting for news, by now.

If Mass Effect is remastered, which I believe is likely, I doubt there would be much change to the core games. I hope they do more than just improved graphics and 60fps (which I say is the minimum) but some of the changes people want to see are just fantasy for a remaster.

I doubt they're going to completely rebuild the game from the ground up.

Most likely they'll copy and paste the game to a new engine if at all. Include all dlc. Slap a new coat of paint. Fix some bugs. Maybe add some content that couldn't fit dev schedule or within a dlc (collector weapons in me3 sp*fingers crossed*)

i never ever got to use the collector smg in the MP back then,
the pack gods didn't want me to...
i have hoped for the very last second for such a SP weapon pack.
that would be awesome if they'd added this!

I wouldn't mind a remastered version but it wouldn't be a preorder or a priority unless all the DLC did not have to be repurchased again..even then, there's so many new games I'd like to try out. Maybe many years from now.

Toss some paint on it and call it new, nah, i'll buy it if they slap some new gear, all DLCs included, Resolve some plotholes and add content to the ending (content that do far more explanation, but no damage to the "almighty original ending AKA choose your favorite color"... and 4K textures, it's +2016 ffs)

I would happily buy a remaster. I'm one of those people that only plays a few games from a few companies and I'm invested in the games that I play. I would drool over the chance to play an updated version of one of my favorite franchises!

Yeah, new paint wouldn't work for me either. It'd have to be those other things.

4k textures would be cool though. But even without it, ME2 for example still holds up in spots. I'm playing it currently and tweaked it to about the best I can. For a 7-8 year old game, it's still pretty.. even with 2k. I think the intro Collector attack probably pushed the engine to it's limit.
