I've gotten all the planets to 100 viability and collected the memory triggers on them. I had gotten to the part about Jien Garson and the Benefactor, but then it told me to collect more triggers. There are no more triggers on the map for me to check out. Is this a bug? Has anyone else had this problem?

Is it more triggers or the nebulous "do something else to unlock the final memory"? That's where I am now.

Same problem. I went back retraced all my steps and had collected all triggers, but it still asks for more. I didn't go back each time SAM told me a memory was available and may have collected one that didn't get counted. Don't know. Bug? Thanks.

Have you guys finished the main story line? I had the same issue, but then continued the main story and at one point it seemed to clear up.

Finishing the storyline doesn't help, but you at least have to be to the point in the story where your sibling wakes up. I ended up finding the last ones on Havarl. They only appeared on my map when I got closer to one of them though.

I've collected all memories. Its "On Hold". Just finished with the archon's ship. I guess I will get the last encrypted memory when I do more main missions.

I've had nothing but problems with this quest. First time, I got the announcement from the doctor to visit cryobay and talk to my sibling, but never got that option when I went to cryobay, so I started over and am at the point where you first talk to Tann and now I am not even getting the message to go visit cryobay at all, so I don't know what to do.

I am glad to see I am not the only one with this issue. Same as above, this is where I am at: - Yes, I have finished the storyline completely and am now just exploring to quell the completionist in me and finish all side quests.
- I have all planets to 100% Viability and fully explored, but no quest icons appear on those planets even with the mission actively tracked.
- Currently it says "Search for memory triggers that will unlock SAM's array" with a white progress bar under it. The progress bar looks like it is almost full.
Here is my progress thus far with the mission as stated in the mission log: - Find a way to remove SAM's memory blocks
- Optional: Visit your sibling in Hyperion's cryo bay
- Investigate Alec's logs in his quarters on the Hyperion
- Speak with Director Tann about the "benefactor"
- Investigate the Nexus records about Jien Garson's death
- Investigate the Nexus Apartment where Jien Garson was found dead
- Scan the room for clues
- Continue scanning the room for more information
- Investigate the hidden room
- Speak with Garson's VI display in the Nexus Cultural Exchange
I have tried walkthroughs to no avail, as currently all published information is incomplete and very vague. I sure wish that our log gave us a specific tracking of exactly what triggers are left and what are left to find. There are a LOT of triggers, and I am convinced they are NOT all on the 4 worlds and Nexus. There HAS to be someplace else. EDIT: I forgot to mention - the text of my mission now reads as follows: A mysterious individual is involved with the Andromeda Initiative: a "benefactor." Investigate this person further while you continue searching for memory triggers.

Okay so follow up. I found a video that says that there is a memory that is NOT placed on your world map on Havarl, but is found in a cave to the North. However I have been in that cave and I appear to have already picked up that memory (in fact I remember grabbing it a few days ago in there).
There's got to be something I'm missing here. In my post above, do any of my lists in the spoilers differ from others who are also having this issue?

If the quest is on hold you have to progress the main story for it to unlock.

Mine is not on hold. it says to go look for triggers, but those triggers nowhere to be found, even whilst following a walk-through video step by step.

Did you talk to Tann about the benefactor? I think you have to do that to unlock the final memory

There should be one final thing you have to do beyond just getting the memory triggers. There's a secondary level of encryption for the final memory and you have to visit a very specific place before that memory will unlock. Check your journal for an additional thing to do.

I did talk to Tann and confronted him about the benefactor (that's in my spoilers list above). And, no, the journal will not tell you anything that you have to do. Mine still says the same thing - best to expand my spoilers in the post above to see where I am at currently. But pretty much it says "Go out and continue to fin triggers". There is no specific place or it would be marked on the map.

I honestly stumbled on the place I needed to be while looking for Keri. That requires having done a few interviews with Keri but it's also near where I might fight Peebee at one point. VERY close to where those two can be found.

Well I've been through all of keri's bits. And I never had to fight Peebee ever. But I have searched every inch of the Nexus. No memory triggers are left there.
I have to say at this point that I am very stumped. Not sure how the OP or the others fared, but this whole bit of people writing these silly "walkthroughs" and saying "Everything is marked on your map" ... wish they would not write that crap if it isn't true. It's very obvious this mission is not tracked on the map.

Yup. Just as described below: - Find a way to remove SAM's memory blocks
- Optional: Visit your sibling in Hyperion's cryo bay

It's very obvious this mission is not tracked on the map. It's because it's not a memory trigger you're looking for. This is something else entirely. My mission log told me SPECIFICALLY to search the quarters of a certain person. If you haven't done that you'll never unlock the final memory. There's no navpoint for those quarters. You simply have to look around the Nexus.

My log is specifically telling me to look for triggers, and it has not told me anything about anyone's quarters. I am therefore not to the point you are referring, since your log told you specifically to go check x-quarters for a trigger Also checked the Nexus just now like you suggested. No nav points at all in any of the two available sections (the nexus is now split due to the Meridian). I also checked the Meridian. no nav points there as well.
They should give us an option to finish this mission after completing the main story, or at least a warning that finishing the main story may cause some missions to no longer be accessible.
Still ... if anyone wants, I can go live on YouTube and just show exactly what I am looking at and where. Maybe more sets of eyes will help. Kind of like Team Viewer but with a 7 second delay LOL.

I am now on my second play-through. I did the New Game Plus, so my old character is now working the game on Insane mode. All i can say is WOW the ammo usage LOL.
Anyway, this time I am playing it smart. I am streaming my entire experience, and I am documenting in a Notepad File literally everything I am doing that has ANY ties to the Ryder family Secrets, including talking to Lexi. For those who do not know, even though I do not think it effects the mission, you can talk to Lexi about the memories you are seeing. I think it is purely for role-play ... basically you confiding in someone professional, and she makes sense since she is monitoring SAM and his connection to you anyway.
I just finished Eos and checked back in with the Nexus and this is what I have thus far. I am posting this only as an example of how I am taking notes this time around. If they match with what you all are doing, I will keep these notes and publish them as a helpful checklist/tool for others who may be having issues with the mission in the future.
Spoke to SAM - advised to check quarters 01 - Alec's Quarters on Nexus Interact with coffee maker, weapon and books Check computer - listen to general logs Back to SAM See first memory Advised first encrypted log unlocked Back to quarters Log 01 listened to ======= TEMPEST ======= Spoke to Lexi about Memory Fragment 2 ====== EOS ====== 02 - Just above site 1 03 - Outpost 04 - North of Kett Base ===== NEXUS ===== Talk to SAM - View second memory Log 02 - listened to ======= TEMPEST ======= Spoke to Lexi about Memory Fragment 2
