So Indra was one of my favorite gun in ME3, and I was so happy to get one in a Premium Pack. However, that happiness turned in to shock when I tried to use it.
In Mass Effect 3 the Indra was a super accurate and relatively stable rapid fire sniper rifle. In Mass Effect Andromeda it has been turned in to totally different gun. While this is gooing on with the Indra, the Raptor has been remade to be near identical to the ME3 version of the Indra.
Here are two videos so you can see what I'm talking about.
Part 1 the new Indra and Raptor.
Part 2 the old Indra.
Why did they do this? :sob:
P.S. At least Raptor is really good now. :amirite:

The developers finally realized the beauty and power of Salarian engineering. That explains the raptor at least.

They killed it. I broke out the Indra for one game, and was immediately taken aback by 2/3 of my shots hitting quite far away from the center of my scope. It's about as accurate as a Revenant.. maybe even less so.

New team must have though of it as a assault rifle with scope and gave it the garbage accuracy to match the other assault rifles. Why they left it as a sniper rifle, I'm not sure.

I'm currently using the Indra on my Turian Havok. But I'm still a PUG, and though I was farely good at ME3MP, I kind of suck in Andromeda's (getting better...eventually...).
I don't think the Indra is THAT bad, and at least the first bullet is accurate so I kind of use it like the Mattock and Raptor, never much in full-auto.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, since I still have got a lot to learn. Are there weapon specific challenges like in the good old ME3HQ?

But the kickback makes it highly inaccurate. Speaking of which, does the Indra do as much damage when hip-firing compared to scoped shooting?

Er, wasn't the Raptor a Cerberus weapon? And IIRC based on a Turian design. You are correct. For whatever reason, I remember reading the description of it as Salarians building it and not the Turians. Maybe it was because it was on a Salarian planet my mind assumed it was them.

Biower nerfed it to the ground. I tried to use Indra in a game with my friends and was embarassed. Recoil and low DPS are killing Indra.

Both Indra and Raptor should be AR's. I wouldn't have a problem with these weapon accuracy if I didn't get damage penalty for firing these weapons from the hip...

I loved the Indra in ME3. I don't have it yet in this game. It looks like I will be disappointed when I do.
