I am currently using charge, nova and backlash. However, since charge isnt a primer and nova isnt a detonator I have a hard time getting a combo with these two.
I am looking for a replacement for nova, but I don't know what else I should pick. However, I want to keep backlash and charge, as I like going into close combat. I am also playing on hard. Also, I am unsure how well singularity works with charge.

Use incinerate 10s CD destroys shields and
Incinerate-Charge-melee -Nova
Singularity is a good primer but 24 sec cd is long

Try Overload, it primes (even though it doesn't say that it does) and it detonates. I also like the cryo beam with the radius upgrade.

I think I stick with enegery drain as it has a primer and enemies with shields are the biggest problem for me.

Can confirm that Overload does prime enemies, but the duration that enemies are primed is significantly shorter compared to other powers (probably like 1 or 2 seconds max). It works well if you can cooperate with your power cooldowns well, otherwise go with Energy Drain specced to prime, Incinerate, or Singularity.

Also, I am unsure how well singularity works with charge. Nova can prime - select recharge, prime, and dmg vs. shields. Select 75% recharge on Charge ability. Keep Backlash and use Charge ->melee ->Nova ->Charge. |
