So I've been replaying mass effect from the beginning, and now its time to start ME3. Im one of the unlucky ones that got a really bad looking shepard from the import function. I've used the fan-made lazarus project with great success on an old pc, but I dont have this anymore. I tried to use this tutorial; faceeffect.blogspot.no/2012/04/lazarus-project-face-effect-tutorial.html, as I did last time. Problem is I cant get it to work. According to the tutorial I must download the project itself first, then download new versions of "LazarusProject.exe" and "lod_mapping.xml" to replace the old ones. I cant find these files. I've tried to look up direct links on the old Bioware board aswell, but get "file not found".

If anyone can provide the files, or a working version of the lazarus project, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, well I guess I've had my last go at ME3 :crying:

Alternativly, I could provide an me 2 and an me 3 save for someone who has lazarus installed and working, so that I can get a corrected version back.

Her hair wont look the same, but there's a mod over at the nexus that will fix that. I wont bother with that unless I get the face fixed.

When I started me2, I saw that my Shep had the same eagle-beak-nose from my me1 play. I owned that moment of uglyness. When I started me3, I worked tirelessly to recreate the same dork-ass-ugly nose/face combo again. It just had to be the same guy.

Dang, sorry. I would've expected someone could have helped by now. I had Project Lazarus downloaded on my old laptop and it was working fine. I checked to see if I still had it, but I must've deleted the files a while ago. Maybe you could try the modding subforum?

I have managed to get in contact with the creator of project lazarus and he has helped me out with the missing files. Now I just need to reinstall ME3 to see if this works. Not at home, so Im only at about 30 Mbps. So slow... Will give an update as to how this goes when Im done :wizard:

The files are not missing apparently, you just need to download the source archive and locate them there:

1. Download the archived source at storage.googleapis.com/google-code-archive-source/v2/code.google.com/me3-lazarus/source-archive.zip
2. Get the LazarusProject.exe from inside that archive under me3-lazarus\trunk\LazarusProject\bin\Release\

3. Get the lod_mapping.xml from inside that archive under me3-lazarus\trunk\LazarusProject\bin\Debug\

Then just follow the guidelines over at faceeffect.blogspot.no/2012/04/lazarus-project-face-effect-tutorial.html
