Does anyone know what happens if you recruit a strike team before starting the campaign? If you level that team up, when you do get around to the campaign, do you get to use that strike team? I guess maybe another way of asking my question is - are mission funds just a single pool across all campaigns and multiplayer? If you level a set of strike teams up in one campaign and then start a new campaign, do you still have access to your high level strike teams or are they walled off somehow?

yes, strike teams are a mp thing not a sp thing. I started with mine before I even got the game, so I can't even think of how they know which thing to wall off.

If you level a set of strike teams up in one campaign and then start a new campaign, do you still have access to your high level strike teams or are they walled off somehow? You can send Strike Teams out to complete missions. Missions are timed, so when the mission is done, your strike team will return - if they complete the strike mission, you get XP, rewards, and mission funds. If they fail, the strike team gets XP only. As your Strike Teams get more XP, they level up. As they level up, they are able to do harder missions that give you more rewards. Certain missions you can play multiplayer, instead of just sending your strike team out. Mission funds let you buy more strike teams, or equip your teams with certain perks to help them complete their strike missions. All in all, it's a mini-game that lets you get more credits, materials, and the occasional weapon. Not really worth it
