Hehe, I wish I'd had the occasion to romance her. My first female playthrough was totally occupied with Garrus, and the one I'm planning is probably going to focus on Liara as the LI. I really like all her scenes though, she's both adorable and funny and obviously competent at her job, which is a bit of a turn-on. And male Shepard sucking at chess took me totally and brilliantly by surprise, and made him that much more relatable to me. Although I suck at it less because I'm preoccupied with practical real-world tactics and more because I tend to get bloodthirsty and get caught up slaughtering pawns("peasants" in my native language) while my opponent sheepishly takes my king.

Liara's LI content is good. Even better if you have that consistency from ME and ME2 (LotS). That being said, Sam's LI material, for saying that she's a single-game romance option, is absolutely golden. Definitely worth exploring.

A very interesting and refreshing character she is. I like her style of communication, her behavior. And I respected her greatly after Thessia mission. My whole crew (exept for Javik and Sam) turned into idiots: MISSION FAILED, we don't know how to finish the device, but the whole crew thinks only about how to comfort Liara, instead of doing something /thinking some strategy/what to do next? We are screwed as we don't know what to do! Javik talked sense about failed mission only and only thanks to Sam Shep could track down that sword-asshole. Sam did her job, Period. Others are just a bunch of idiots. "Oh, poor Liara, what to say to comform her?". To hell with that Liara who couldn't do her job and now whine like a child (others lost their home too, you know). I prefer Sam instead of Kelly. Intelligent, funny, knows how to do her job even worked only in the lab, never serverd on the military ship. She is a great character and I am really glad she was introduced in ME3.

on my original runs I always played mshep and had Miranda as my favorite LI... However since playing a couple of femsheps Samantha took the top spot and I haven't gone back playing as mshep since. Traynor is so cute, sweet and sexy as well as smart yet clumsy. Excellent voice actress and some of the best scenes (the goodbye scene, the Citadel) and talks in between. Thanks you all for sharing the art work (though a lot doesn't work anymore from DeviantArt sadly ). - If anybody has Traynor wallpapers or "steamy" drawings/digital art share or let me know where to find it

Samantha Traynor is my favorite LI and also top 3 character in the Mass Effect universe(s). Well written, satisfying arc, hilarious toothbrush saving DLC antics, smart, funny, caring, passionate for her work, cute as hell and a beautiful voice I could listen to for hours. On top of that her voice actress, Alix Wilton Regan, seems like a very lovely person too. Hoping for a Traynor reappearance in the new Mass Effect game or that Alix gets a main role, maybe even voicing the players female protagonist - Is it true that her face is a computer generated one and not directly based on some face model/actress?
- Please repost or relink your Traynor art works and fave images. (Many don’t work anymore)
- Other than DeviantArt and google image search, where can I find more Traynor images and fan art?

I just finished my first official Traynor romance run, and modified my canon Shepard to include her. I quite enjoyed all of her interactions, and was pleasantly surprised that, even without Citadel DLC, and despite what I've read over the years, Samantha seemed to have quite a bit of dialogue to uncover.
It may have already been mentioned (I may have missed it), but I liked getting a piece of unintentional romance content while getting ready for the Cerberus Headquarters mission. I always choose to nudge Joker and EDI into a relationship, so there is this exchange where Joker, worried about EDI, asks Shepard to "keep her safe" during the mission. Shepard replies "same to you" to Joker. It is supposed to be referencing the Normandy, but with my Shepard in a relationship with Samantha, I gladly interpreted this as an additional romance line. Shepard protects EDI on the ground, and Joker safeguards Samantha in the air.

Really like listening to Sam talking. Her accent is so attactive. With that voice actress did a great job voicing Sam.
What is interestng for me as well that Sam is shy and rather simple and open at the same time. Such combination is one more thing making Sam an interesting character (in comparison to other chatacters in the game). Too bad we meet her only in ME3.

What I like is throughout the game she grows a backbone. By the time the fleets head to earth, she wouldn't hesitate going on the front lines to face the enemy. Yes. If the trilogy were to be remade, it wouldn't be hard to have her in all 3 games.

AWR, my avatar, did an excellent job. Alex Wilton Regan, yes. If remember right, in DAI she is a voice for a female inquisitor and there she sounds a bit different. Do not know why, but Sam voicing is so much better, just really great work there. What I like is throughout the game she grows a backbone. By the time the fleets head to earth, she wouldn't hesitate going on the front lines to face the enemy. And at the same time Sam does not lose herself, the part of her character to be modest and funny. That's what I do like: not to lose oneself during difficult periods, like war, invasion or some other threat. Yes. If the trilogy were to be remade, it wouldn't be hard to have her in all 3 games. Oh, yes. Watch how Sam changes during all three games; there are many things to work with, and tbh it feels like one game is not enough for Sam to develop.

Yes. If the trilogy were to be remade, it wouldn't be hard to have her in all 3 games. So long as she doesn’t remove Kelly (also should be in all three games) I’d be all for it.

I know there's a lot of images in the thread that are no longer there. A reason why is because the person decided to delete all her stuff. Hopefully with the remaster arriving shortly, she might post them again, if she chose to store those images somewhere as backup. Anyways here's where someone can go to see a lot of images featuring Sam.

Just a heads up for people romancing Samantha. There is trophy for romancing a character in any of the 3 games. I never got the trophy even though Sam was the LI. I would guess it's because I didn't interact with all her content. Meaning I avoided Grissom and the rescuing the Cerberus scientists missions. Both add dialogue to the relationship.

Haven't finished my mShep play trough yet, let alone my femshep/Sam one. Is there actual shower/bath steam or a classy nude model in MELE or the same old underwear > shower/bath scenes as in the OG Trilogy?

I doubt her character already existed during ME2's development, however I wouldn't rule it out that they took a generic ME2 character design like the above and used is as a base for her character model in ME3. That Lady certainly has some similarities and keep in mind ME2 was orange/brownish overall color tone vs a very blue ME3. There were and hopefully still are some amazing people involved with Mass Effect who often added a line, tone, codex entry that paid of or was used down the line.
Do we know who the people were working on her character model and dialogue? Btw for those newer fans of Traynor, as I found out going back in this very own thread, her face is made by a good old face code in ME3 721.58D.S42.B8V.FMP.1BW.A8F.7G1.CB7.IH7.2F6.816. and I crushed on her "generic" face (and smooth, sensual, sexy voice) , AI has already beat me... Also I was shocked to discover she was on Horizon when the colony was attacked. For some reason I didn't seem to remember all that, vs her white house, picket fences, won't feed fish and shower dialogue etc.)
Now I'm wondering if she was among the rescued in the SM or if she was one of the few left behind on stung-frozen or not on Horizon that they didn't take.

She was of the half not taken on Horizon. The half that was always dies.

I hate the Horizon missions in ME2 and ME3 with a passion (mainly due the Praetorian and Banshee/Brutes fights) and the VS stupid behavior. Well at least this gives the ME2 mission some additional meaning even though my bro/femsheps don't know it yet

I liked that Traynor had some dialogue during the reaper base mission on Rannoch. Too bad there wasn't more of that in the game.
