I sincerely hope that developers are reading the posts from the public and that this reaches them.
Also I would like to preface this by saying I am not a fanboy, I have played games for years and rarely post online but I really felt this time that I had to.
Having just finished my 1st playthrough, I managed a 96% completion, as I missed some small side quests that I could not finish later... but will pay very close attention to wrapping them up as soon as they appear in my new game +, I got to lvl 57 at the end ( was 80 xp away from 58 )
I just want to thank you for an amazing game, and a fantastic ride in a truly wonderful new chapter to the ME universe.
It may be very discouraging with all the bad press that your creation has received, if I were in your shoes devastated would spring to mind after pouring so much heart and soul into this game. It is only my opinion here but if people had stopped and played through the entire game BEFORE casting judgements they would have seen the rare gem you have created.
The new characters DO make a solid impression their loyalty missions, combined with those fantastic friendship sequences that you are able to experience with them are wonderful and really deepen your understanding and attachment. For e.g Football with Liam, Gardening with Cora, Mountain climbing with Vetra it was fantastic and I really appreciate your work in adding this for us.
The moment where you can use remnant technology without SAM, and as Ryder himself states later " I am Adapting but its still easier with SAM" This adapting to remnant technology makes Ryder unique and sets the groundwork for some amazing new stories and experiences which I am VERY excited to see in the future. I mean was this the future that Alex Ryder saw for Humanity's evolution, a matching of man and machine that jump started dormant abilities we already possessed.... so many possibilities....
I loved this game and would put it head and shoulders above mass effect 1, people are judging this game against a well established trilogy.... WELL THIS IS ONE GAME..... wait until there is a completed trilogy here and then people can talk about Garrus vs Drack.... That part in this loyalty mission where he is bursting through a wall and shouting "HI" ( The enemies running away made that scene priceless KUDOS on that ) I for one cant wait to experience more of the crew and meet new ones down the road.
The sheer size of the game is magnificent, and with that you HAVE to make some allowances, like facial animations in such a massive title and people should understand that, and while yes everyone would have liked more detail there, in the grand scope of the game I feel that it is a truly small negative as I preferred to have the huge tale you presented us with rather than perfect animation at about a third of the size.
All I can say is give it time, as more and more people finish the game to completion the games scope and quality will shine through.
Anyway when all is said and done I just wanted to come on to this forum and leave this message here for you guys.
Thank you for an amazing game and a fantastic voyage and experience, I loved your creation and will be playing this for a long time to come while I wait for the next installation.
