I have no idea how to mod, but was wondering if such a thing would be possible with this engine? Like making it so that, wherever you are, be it planet, ship, system or nexus you can select where you want to go specifically, and end up with only one load screen animation. As of right now, going from one planet to another requires minimum of 4 of these. Inquisition had one, makes for better flow.
Just wondering, because I want to go through the game again, but I'm not touching it with that overly frustrating system in store now.

I honestly really doubt it, the only option would be if Bioware themselves updated the game with a new option but don't think they will

I agree. The whole traveling between planets thing was cool at first, but now it's just annoying and time consuming. I don't even want to visit the other planets to scan for resources because of this system, it just takes too long, especially considering some planets don't even have anything on them.

If that's the case, then I'd rather have the visuals But it's more than possible it's just for the aesthetic graphics.

Well, probably not the same on all systems; you'd load as fast as you could. The current system is like the ME1 elevators; even if your system can load the level faster, you still do the whole ride.

I'm not looking for the ability to ignore loading screen animation altogether, just the extra steps when they aren't needed. Ship->system->planet->landing on that planet, seem unnecessary when I know exactly where I want to go. It's like the elevators sure, except you have to take one elevator, move over to the next elevator, and repeat this four times.

There's a mod for Mass Effect 2 that shortens the loading times considerably by removing the animated loading screens and replacing them with a static image. Because the game would always wait for the animations to finish before it returned to gameplay, loading times are almost instant with the mod installed. There's also a mod for Mass Effect 3 that considerably shortens the Mass Relay transition by replacing it with a shorter video. I'm not sure how the galaxy transitions are handled in Andromeda, if the animations are in real time or through pre-rendered video, but if they're the latter, it should be fairly easy for those with the knowledge to replace them or remove them altogether.

All they need to do to fix this is to speed up the startup rotation animations when you pick a new planet and stop the camera from zooming in on the horizon before correcting to an overview angle. I have no idea why it goes into the former camera angle aside from the fact that it looks like there should've been another menu screen there and it looks like it did in ME1 or the trilogy, but they scrapped it to speed it up or something.

I get that there's a loading screen for getting onto the ship, and getting to a new system. I'm asking to bypass going those places, when I don't want to go to those places, but directly to a planet. Therefore also not having all the loading screens for areas I don't want to go.
