After watching the Peebee loyalty mission video before the game's release I thought I might have issues with her endangering others, but that wasn't the case. I enjoyed her character and Peebee seems to take it to heart when my Ryder vented his alarm and anger over her actions. Liam on the other hand....WOW! His loyalty arc really put me off, so much that I wished I could have sent him back to the Nexus or confined him to the ship as security against boarders, and revoke all security access to critical systems and files. He puts the whole Nexus at risk, without telling any one until he needs to be bailed out. And on top of that he goes to civilians to help bail him out, instead of military. With his "planning" of the rescue mission I was waiting for Cora to light into him during the mission, and she did a bit but no where near what I would have. At the end of his loyalty mission where he is placating Ryder, I wanted to to tell him "Shut up. You are done. You do nothing without going through me, or you will be assigned to Nexus as a janitor."

Gotta say that I'm the opposite here. Although what Liam did was ill advised and ended up going pear shaped, he was at least up front with Ryder about everything when he needed help. Peebee, on the other hand, tricked Ryder and another squadmate into going down into an incredibly dangerous environment with no plan to get out of it. None.
Him I can easily forgive. Her? Less so.

My problem is that he risks everyone on the Nexus, and doesn't even see the risks until it blows up in his face. Peebee knows the risks and ignores them. Liam doesn't even seem to consider the risks, until it falls apart. And he doesn't learn from it. When I landed on Kandara after his mission I found him talking with someone and using the "back channels" again. Peebee at least shows growth, and comes to realize its more then just about her once her arc is completed.
I had a feeling after what he pulled on Aya, I was going to have an issue with him. His request for Ryder to scan a vendor's items could have sparked a larger diplomatic incident if Vetra hadn't bumped into Ryder to stop him/her from scanning. He asked it innocently and set Ryder up to handle to fall out. Liam keeps making the same mistake and not learning from it.
That is why I can forgive Peebee, and not Liam. While Peebee ticked me off, she took my criticism and seemed to learn from it. Liam on the other hand never learns to consider the risks of his actions. I feel he is the more dangerous of the two.

To be fair, that incident could easily have happened before his loyalty mission (in my case, it did) in which case he would have learned his lesson afterwards. But I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree here.

Both have issues.
I let both know I was upset, but supportive of them doing better.
PeeBee I was less annoyed with, because she is my lovely lady Asari.

PeePee exists as an asari, which is in itself unforgivable.
