Best kit to rack up points and medals?

I know the typical answer to the topic question is something like "you can get super points playing any class if you know what you're doing, git guud son", but some kits/classes in this game seems to be far easier than others, in terms of racking up high score/exp and earning lots of medals, since most medals seems to be easiest obtained by playing an offensive style. 

Right now i'm playing Brogan Vanguard and it's quite easy to end up at the top, especially with the Headbutt build. But yesterday i played together with this Asari Adept who has around 10K at the end of round 3 or 4 (silver), more than double of what i had (and i was in second). Looked like she ran around with her Annihilation basically punching the shit out of everything, getting massive combo score (probably used some other skills too...).

Other things i've seen are skilled snipers who can rack up tons of points from afar. 

No need to point out that focusing on the two objective rounds is important.
