Hey, everyone! I was wondering what system you'll be running MP when it releases in the future. I enjoy all the consoles but my PC won't be up to par so I will be getting it on console.
With that in mind, I will likely purchase ME:A on the console with you guys. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind PUGS but I'd like to be able to play with y'all for many years to come.

PC for me, assuming it has (unlike the trilogy) proper controller support. A keyboard is the tool of a pikey.

Holy smokes, alot of PC players! What specs are good for a PC to run games for the future? I have been saving money but I can't see myself spending 3 grand for the best. Is there cheaper alternatives to building a PC than Alienware?
I just figure that it is too big of an investment with little return when the PC graphics card, ect are constantly evolving to the point that you have to upgrade parts every year or two. I might be wrong but what's your (PC players) experience with keeping up with the advancements?

I might be wrong but what's your (PC players) experience with keeping up with the advancements? My experience is that due to most titles being multiplatform, your PC is fine as long as it keeps up with or just about beats the current console generation (being a bit stronger is good in case of bad ports). Other than that, there is no reason to keep upgrading since there is likely no game that takes full advantage of hardware that is way above the current console generation - unless it's a PC exclusive or the PC version has additional bells and whistles added to it. I used my last PC for seven years, got new memory once for about 50 bucks when the old one died, and a new graphics card for about 200 when the new console generation came out. It ran Witcher 3 on mostly ultra with one or two settings to very high to ensure smooth framerates. It also ran Battlefield 4 and Star Wars Battlefront on all ultra... Dragon Age Inquisition too, with some hiccups due to it being a rather mediocre port. The constant need for PC hardware upgrades is mostly a myth. It is an option, not a need.

I think that with 3-4 GB of video and 16 of ram should do the trick (ultra... or high... or medium) with a +i6 processor ($2000 more or less)

But, I'm more than willing to bet that they are more powerful than what's currently in the PS4.5 or the XB Scorpio. Other than that, you can go with a totally AMD system, and be completely fine. That is my new benchmark. What's in current gen consoles? Okay, great, I'm more powerful than that. The need for higher frame rates and better looking textures on some of these consoles is pushing them to have higher and higher demands. Of course, if you really feel like spending your money on Intel, that's fine too. But you better get that wallet warmed up.

I'll play on pc, but if the game has controller support I'll use it even though controller for shooters is awful. I just don't want to stress my hands, so Wood difficulty here I come.

PC always seems to be ahead of the curve. One of the things that hasn't pushed me to buy one is with consoles is that I log on and immediately see what my friends are playing to hop on MP or get invites. Swap over to cable or Netflix on Xbox. It's just little things plus if I play PC, I got to go in the "cave" where none of the fam are spending time.

Swap over to cable or Netflix on Xbox. It's just little things plus if I play PC, I got to go in the "cave" where none of the fam are spending time. My general approach to keeping my PC updated is to go top to the line, but only upgrade about every 3-4 years and that tends to work fine for me. Right now my rig is an I7 4930k, 16GB DDR3 RAM and a standard Titan video card. I can still play current games like Deus Ex Mankind Divided on ultra. The only setting I really don't ever turn on in games is MSAA because it's a horrible resource hog that tends to tank the framerates of any PC. It also helps that I work from home and use this PC for that, meaning I get to claim it as a "work expense" come tax season =P Though the consolidated friends list I can see being really nice rather than having Steam, Skype, Battle.net, and Discord up at all times.

Xbone for me, my PC probably won't run it. Been saving up for a while(a very long time)to upgrade my PC but been a full time carer money is very tight, need new mother board, CPU, and a much better graphics card(I think I need a new PC). Unfortunately that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I'd love to be among the master race but I have to put someone else first. Same here. Don't get me wrong, I have been saving money but it is a huge choice to invest in versus saving for my children's college fund and just any other type of future expenses. With buying a console, the whole fam gets something. Only time will tell if I will later this year though if everything else is going smoothly.
