Up till now, I've had no issues at all with my screen resolution or the graphics. Everything has looked fantastic. But today, when I tried to log in, something happened that I've not seen before... When the initial black screen (with the 3 logos) loaded, a long rectangular box popped up that said "Recalibrating" (or something like that), and my screen blipped for a few seconds, and it looked like it was changing my resolution. Then I got to the main menu and all the text looked fuzzy and out-of-focus. I went ahead and loaded my last save, and now the graphics in-game look like utter crap. Really fuzzy/out-of-focus, just like the menu text. It's so awful that there's just no way I can play it like that. I went to the Graphics settings (which had previously been set to Ultra) and they had been changed to Custom instead. I set them back to Ultra. Then I tried looking for a way to check/change my resolution. But all I can find are a couple sliders called "Resolution Scale Mode" and "Resolution Scale", and I have no idea what they do, how to use them, etc. I can't find a traditional drop-down menu that let's you choose your native resolution. (mine is 1920 x 1080) So I just saved the graphics settings (switched back to Ultra), logged completely out of the game, fired it back up, and the graphics still look freaking awful. So then I logged out again, and from my library in Origin I ran "Repair" and then "Update Game", then logged back in. The Graphics are still set on Ultra this time, but I've still got the same fuzzy/out-of-focus mess. Does anyone have any ideas about what might have happened, or how to fix it? Or how the heck you're supposed to set your resolution? I'm thinking it's just the wrong resolution, but I'm not 100% sure. Any help would be much appreciated! At the moment, I really can't play it like this...

I think new nvidia drivers came out recently? If you donwloaded them, it might be a reason why your graphics changed... Do you play on PC or console? Also, as far as I can tell, the game offers only some resolutions for some reason. My type of resolution isn't offered at all, so I have to play with part of the screen missing, it's kinda annoying. Might be tied to that? Well, if you play on PC, I reccomend checking out these tips, especially the ones about resolution: segmentnext.com/2017/03/21/mass-effect-andromeda-errors-black-screen/ (number 8)

I checked the "ProfOpts_profile" file, and yep... the resolution was wrong! I changed it back to my native resolution (1920 x 1080), saved the file, and everything is back to normal (and looking terrific!) in-game. Phew. I have no idea why that happened all of a sudden... I'm on PC (Windows 10), and I have the latest NVIDIA drivers (ver. 378.92). But I've had that version since I started playing on the 21st, and have had no issues until today. So odd...

No problem, glad I could help! Well, the game is still new and wonky, who knows what's happening deep inside the code...
