Andromeda Squad: How many and who?

Honeslty I don't know. I only hope for quality over quantity, but I'd be okay with 30 squadmates as long as they all have their own personalities and whatnot.
Probably wont happen, but I'm in the "Want a batarian squaddie" club (currently one member?).
I'd also like to see quite a few (say 3 maybe) Andromedian species in the team, just to give again that alien feeling to the team rather than the "we all know each other". Remember the very first time having a Turian, Krogan, Asari on the team? that feeling.

What I don't want to see is autodialog or "talk to the hand" like in ME2 with Zaed and Kasumi. That ruins it.

I'd rather them go deep rather than wide, though that has its own pitfalls.

In ME2, they went wide. I found so many of the squadmates interesting I was disappointed by their lack of content. In ME3 they did the opposite, where they went in-depth with fewer characters, but I wasn't as interested in those ones.

So depth is great, but only if they focus on the characters you like.

I think anywhere between 6 and 10 squadmates is best. But I would make everyone of them romance-able, and for both sexes too.

I'm just going to make a guess at the races, I'm kinda hoping they will spice up the classes some way:

2 Humans (male + female)
1 Salarian (female)
1 Turian (male)
1 New Andromeda race (male?)
1 Krogan (male)
1 Asari ("female")

Sadly I suspect Quarians and Drells are going to left out in the cold, unless of course they do the DAI approach and have something similar to the advisors. I really would like to see a male Qurian as a companion though!
