MEA Cinematic Tools are working for me just fine. In fact:

The Decimation

Make sure you are running both frosty mod manager and mass effect in the same mode. Either administrator or not. They have to be the same. Otherwise you get that happening. And you still might have that happen. If it does, what I do is make sure everything related to MEA is closed out. That includes Origin and cinematic tools and frosty manager itself. Then run frosty mod manager as usual.

Well, I celebrated too soon, because ReShade has stopped working again, Cinematic Tools or no. I had already uninstalled it before posting here for help, and after reinstalling it won’t launch. I’ve had the same problem before with reinstall attempts, in fact, and I’m not sure how I even managed to get it working again earlier today. :/ If anybody has ever had the same issue, are there any files in some unlikely place that I could've neglected when removing the old install?

Anyway, that middle pic is amazing! (And I really loved the Kadara screenshots you posted earlier.)

Both cine tools and ReShade work fine with patch 1.09 for me, the cine tools don't work on the Tempest and galaxy maps, but it's always been like this. I doubt we'll get an update from Hatti too, but not because the bad reviews lol, I assume he just isn't interested any more and too busy with other projects.

Thanks so much! I do suspect there's a way of tricking the tools to find right angle, just like in the good old opening scene of ME2, if you use the flycam to go out of bounds, you can actually find Miranda and TIM in the background. I should have figured this out.

Once you get into the Tempest, you should be able to use DoF as usual. You might have to adjust the blur curves or focus depths, but it should work.

That's what I'm wondering. I haven't been able to get the tools to work. I messaged the maker of the tools but he doesn't give a shit about MEA anymore. He only cares about battlefield and need for speed. I guess we are stuck with Ansel.
