I'm not through the game yet, but I am just wrapping up Cora's Asari Ark loyalty mission. Wow! This reminds me exactly of what a great mission was in the original trilogy. Visiting a broken down Ark, a mystery going on, pipes busting, flashlights out, good fighting AND good cutscenes. Loving it! This shows that the team knows how to make these kind of experiences in Andromeda. Hopefully, there will be more. I think a lot of this had to do with it being in an enclosed area, verses out in the Overworld-type stuff which I like much less. I'm guessing everyone's loyalty quest will be this good. For the first time playing, I'm actually excited about it. Not sure it will last but hey, I'll take this one mission at least!

One of my favorite missions and I completely agree. It felt like ME to me from the trilogy.

Felt like mass effect for multiple moments for me, though probably because i was wearing the N7 armor, so many poses and tough dialogue options reminded me of shepard.
The ending with the mako was really epic
And assaulting the archon's ship with 2 teams felt like i was on the collector base all over again
Honestly, i had a ton of fun with this game, kinda rushed to the end but mostly because i ll be playing NG+ and complete everything to 100%
Edit: Also listening to the last memory and the calls really felt huge emotionally, i didnt expect we would know about it

The mission would be fine, if not how it ended. Two biotics take down Kett dreadnought? Really? I guess that explains why AI ships are unarmed, they simply don't need to, just put a few asari on each ship and kett are done. For me first ME moment was HK-307 (?), after Arizona-planet, Antarctica-planet and Texas-planet I was like "This is why we came here". I was just aimlessly rolling around for solid ten minutes, enjoying the view.

Even more evidence that the property lends itself better to scripted storytelling then "open world"... Liam's mission wasn't half bad either, had a very GotG feeling to it.
