After having 50% range i respeced to 30% recharge rate, and now i got 30% recharge. I got a feeling i made a mistake because the 50% range probably better because of the team play aspect on gold etc?

Range - every day all the time. You already have two great detonators whit low cooldown. Whit range you can prime whole rooms, sit on a corner and prime everyting that comes or flat out just dash forward and prime everything.

I thought about the recharge thingie to be able to always have the 3 sec melee bonus on a big fight.

Range is certainly the best option, otherwise you have to get very close in order to prime a target.

recharge if you're going to focus on yourself, range is you're never going to solo or don't care if you can't clutch gold.
Pretty self explanatory.
The 'conventional wisdom' that applied to 3 doesn't work here in most cases under the current balance model and you shouldn't assume it does.

Low cooldown is a bit of an exaggeration when you've got -60% recharge rate.

Use range. CD doesn't matter when a biotic combo even with 6/6 can't kill a silver mook. Extended range means more mobs getting your 40% damage debuff and refilling your shields when they die. You should be punching everything to death and only poping a combo to give you more melee damage.

I took recharge. Why do I need more range if I'm just punching things to death? The BEs in this game are piss even at 6/6. It's a stagger with mild dmg. Works fine in gold.

While I'll admit the melee build looks extremely good I have gone for full biotic combo build which is really fun and still holds her own on Gold no problem.
Therefore I have gone for the -30% to the recharge penalty rather than range so my cooldowns are quite reasonable. Ok I have to get a little closer and the 30% shield refill WOULD technically also benefit from wider range but I'm usually in the face of any enemy I'm trying to kill anyway.

"Why I need moar range if I r punchs all the things?" Because you aren't the only one on your team. Because there is normally three other mobs in the vicinity while you are derp smashing on one. Because when you are doing objectives/extractions and have to sit behind cover, your field is extending outward debuffing enemies and refilling the teams shields.

I'm really liking this character, plays really fast paced but I really struggled with this choice, I ended up taking the recharge speed for more BE's, but the limited range can be problematic.
Although that wasn't as hard a choice as the next evo, +25% movement speed or %20 debuff .. I looked at that for a long time.
I kind of came to the conclusion that CD time would pair better with movement speed while radius would pair better with the %20 debuff.
I'm currently running this blue space babe with CD and movement speed.

The only thing worth debuffing are bosses. Everything else dies too quickly for it to be worth while. I also prefer smaller radius because unlike ME3 each of your powers is on a separate cooldown which meeaaaaannnnss you boom with throw, punch, dodge back just a hair and you can boom again with lance. I'd consider testing radius if I get more respec cards but recharge has worked well for me. It's perfectly fine on gold.

I initially went recharge as I was trying to get to where you can spam throw like the old fury. Unfortunately that isn't quite possible and biotic explosions are underwhelming so I am considering going with radius.

I ended up going with movement because it's how I played the old N7 Fury (movement = survival) but I'm totally open to a solid argument for debuff. I just can't give up my movement speed. it's like a drug.

You know that weird card you can get every once in a while? The respec one? That allows you to change your points, when you tried something and want to try it differently. Just see for yourself what matches your playstyle, and adjust accordingly.
