No, most weapons are just terrible to begin with, and shooting enemies through cover at 60% damage will just make it feel even worse.

I've been using the AR penetration attachment to shoot through cover and walls and it seems to be working correctly for me. Which one are you using?

Does anyone else feel like the MP was released even less polished and half-finished than the SP? I know, crazy thought right, but when you really think about it? Does this really look like a finished product?

Does this really look like a finished product? No, it doesn´t, at the same time this half-baked games are state of the industry. If you have a release date with a publisher, you are committing to it. Games Industry is famous for months of crunch times back-to-back, with 12 or 14 hour days. Seeing how badly SP feels when interacting with NPCs ( playing idle animations during talking with you, bulging lip syndrome, vering off camera during talk, the absolutely emotionless delivery of all characters including the protagonist, people not eveing focussing each other when talking to each other ) I´d say MP is actually in a pretty good state compared to SP.

I really think the gaming industry is nothing like it was back when they made Grandma's Boy. No more group of fun loving guys having a blast. I think its all EA and other parent companies screaming "Make me money!!!!! NOW!!!"

I don't think it's just the penetration dmg. I've noticed that I can shoot enemies a lot in MP and they literally just don't take any dmg at all unless i move and change my angle. There is something very wrong with the hit-detection while enemies are in cover. For instance I was shooting a Raider sharpshooter that was peeking up over cover to shoot like they do and my crosshair was red over it's head, fired, no damage and no hit reaction. Fired again. Same thing. Moved about a foot or so over and it's head popped. No matter the gun I've noticed that enemies are just invincible at times, mostly when using the cover mechanic, from certain angles at certain moments. It's making sniping difficult.

No, most weapons are just terrible to begin with, and shooting enemies through cover at 60% damage will just make it feel even worse. Using Vanquisher X with Barrel X and Receiver X....its not the lack of damage....nothing happens but the enemy is stunned... Is Vanquisher a plasma / energy based weapon? I remember that some weapons in ME3 had zero penetration, so I wonder if it is something specific with the weapon.

Going to try the BW without the Receiver on to see if it still gets them.

Going to try the BW without the Receiver on to see if it still gets them. BW had innate penetration on ME3, so it is possible that it still has this characteristic.

That reminds me of the "abundance" of invisible walls in BF4 and BF1. First I thought this might be DICE, but maybe that´s an engine thing?
