Am I the only one having these stutters? MP is almost unplayable (if you want to snipe at least)
I get this in SP too (specially in crowded areas like the Nexus and even the Tempest is pretty bad) but it gets quite a lot worse in the MP. The worst moments are when enemies are spawning and very often during combat as well if there's a lot going on, it seems something like a buffer cache, load issue. It's literal freezes from a few hundred ms up to a whole second of complete screen freeze. I mean, I would probably be ok if I'd be playing a Vanguard but come on, this is unacceptable.
i5 4570k (overclocked to 4.2), GTX Strix 970 (stock+manually overclocked), 12GB DDR3@1600, game installed on SSD and yes I did try reinstalls and other drives (Win 7)
Overclocked or not, the system is running pretty cool and stable, so I don't think there's any downthrottling going on.
No graphic setting makes a change.
On ultra: 50 fps with occasional stutter. On low and rendering in 900p: 130fps and still stuttering. I did try running in borderless window and fullscreen w/gsync, no difference, except it gets even worse when fps drops below 30 during stuters, gsync doesn't like that No difference if I'm hosting or not, either. As said, happens in SP too, but in MP it's even worse. RAM usage is tasked pretty heavily, but the game still gets it's 8-9 GB if I close down all background processes there's ussualy still 1GB ram on standby as per Windows resource monitor.
I did hear and got suggested that it certainly is a RAM problem, but I'm not really convinced, since there's still over 8GB of game data loaded inside, should it really be stuttering this much?
Btw reinstalling to ssd made absolutely no difference in loading times and stuttering. There was a video posted in techquickie not long ago where they tested several games and in most modern games actual disk read is usually at 20 mb/s with a peak of 100 mb/s, which is only 5-20% of what a basic SATA drive is capable of, hence why I didn't noticed a difference over having it installed on hybrid or SSD.
I just want to know, for now, if it's just me with this problem or what, because I've been hearing from other people with only 8GB of system memory that they have stable performance, and that seems quite hard to believe for me.

Might be the 500mb ram on your 970 that isn't as fast as the rest...

So the game is unoptimised - something I would suspect, but is it just *some* people that are having problem with it, or is this happening to everyone? Because I don't see many threads about this.

I have this problem too. Sometimes it will hang for two seconds. Very annoying. I was kicking in ascension today and it froze. When it unfroze. I was on the ground dead. 2-3 seconds. 980 ti with sky lake 6700. I put up with all these annoyances because I remember all the bugs in me3. Bioware needs better developers.

Considering I didn't have this problem in DAI (I played only after it was fully patched) I am hoping they can resolve this.
I wonder, does anyone know if DAI had similar problems on release?
For testing purposes, I tried upping the renderer scale on ultra settings to 4K. I got a LOT more stutter the more I increased the resolution, so you would think that it has to do with the resolution scaling but no, even if I set everything to low and 720p, the stutter is still not gone, even tough the game would run at 150+ fps. Really bizzare. Reminds me on Alpha Protocol, but this is much worse.
