The true function of the AI was a life boat to escape the reapers. There were a lot of people here and on Reddit who were certain that wasn't the case.
Also, someone posted a few weeks ago about the Cerberus connection...that too looks to almost certainly be true.
I just hope they don't change the mysterious "Benefactor" to someone other than TIM because everyone guessed it...I hate it when they change to things that don't make sense to try to stump fans.

Sidenote: The earlier leak of MEA was pretty much correct even in ways that it didn't seem. The 6th squadmate was said to be synthetic. Well, Jaal is technically 'synthetic'  . I don't think the Benefactor is TIM. I do think Cerberus has something to do with things but like Shepard and the Reapers, I don't think it is of overt importance. (Even the 'fleeting the Reapers' is not what 99.99% of the Initiative is traveling for.) |
