Me and a friend were playing MP and where I've mostly been playing SP he has mostly been playing MP. This obviously led to a drastic differences in our guns. Most of mine were at III or less and most of his commons were at X. Curious we compared the stats and the only things that got better on the guns comparing a I weapon to an X weapon was weight, accuracy, and i think we had one where the ROF went up slightly.
I was shocked seeing how in single-player the weapons drastically get better as you level them up. I'm honestly just hoping my friend was screwing with me and the DMG, Clip Size, or something else that actually helps the gun goes up. I mainly play classes like the Aerial Havoc Trooper or Krogan Merc so weight to help recharge rate is useless to me. Also, a lot of these guns just seem to suck even on bronze so if they don't improve with levels then I guess I'm stuck using he Equalizer and Lanat for the rest of my MP career.
If the above is true for most, maybe all weapons, what's the significant difference between an I weapon and an X weapon? Does anybody have any numbers going against this?

Somebody on the Forums did a rough estimate - the difference between Level 1 weapons and Level X weapons was estimated to be around 30% for commons.
I have no clue how good this holds up, but there is a NOTICEABLE difference between weapons when leveled up, especially when you also get the Level X weapon mods. 30% does feel about right.

Flip the card side - it should tell what happens per level. Same with the character cards.

I looked into it´s description to find out if it had a melee bonus, but I assumed making it the only option for melee based characters wouldn´t have been a good idea, so they dropped that.

Ascetic = aesthetic I smiled on that one And we all understood what you meant in the first place, too! In ME3MP, the difference from Weapon LvL 1 to 10 was 30% more damage, 30% more spare ammo and 30% less weight, I think. Might be similar in ME:A.

In campaign is pretty easy to see (just compare 2 guns at different levels in the development center). Most weapons increase pretty much all their stats, not sure about RoF and mag size, but weight, damage, accuracy all that increases with every new level.
In MP is harder to tell since you can't compare same guns at different levels for obvious reasons, but I assume is the same. Remember though, in SP guns have different stats than in MP. MP guns tend to have higher stats, whereas their SP counterparts have lower stats.
Compared to ME3, this is very similar if not equal. The only thing that changes is how much stats increase per level, I think in ME:A guns increase their stats in a more dramatic way than it was in ME3. Not that it makes much of a difference mind you, since 80% of the weapons suck in MP. And in campaign I'd say 60-50% suck.
