Is anyone else concerned they might not bother balancing the game?

I hope they do because balancing would be vital, regarding how useless a great bunch of weapons is and stuff like that.
I fear that they don't really care though. We're probably not getting people as dedicated to it as last time.
And what would they base their balancing on? They don't have a Community around this time that could give input. They have Twitter. And if it's anything like last time, the biggest bunch of the devs play Bronze anyway, if they play at All.
