PSA: overheated Equalizer will reload to 100% when you swap weapons

Equalizer is a Rare pistol that functions like the Collector Sniper Rifle / Particle Rifle from ME3MP: it doesn't have ammo, it has a percentage indicator. You can fire as much as you want but when you drain it to 0%, it overheats. Normally to "vent the excess heat" (= reload) takes several seconds.
But... if you equip another weapon, then when you overheat the Equalizer, you can swap to your secondary weapon and when you swap back, the Equalizer will be back to 100%. Tested with Equalizer / Phalanx.
I don't know if this is actually any faster than just waiting for the Equalizer to reload, but it sure feels better.
