For those that have both, how do they compare?
That feel when you have a talon x but no piranha... I have a Dhan and talon is definately better than that one, so I'm curious about how the other UR shotgun compares.

I've seen someone with a Piranha I take half the health of a Berseker with 1 mag. That still pitiful, but as far as gun damage goes in this game that's pretty good. I know I wish they would hurry up and give me one. I love the talon, but it can't do that in that amount of time.

I 1-clipped a berserker on gold earlier from full health ith a talon, that was with an infiltrator with the rank 6 2 second cloak damage though. And extended mags so 5 or 6 shots. |

id say it depends on the character you are using.
turboboost + piranha is devastating and funny, also with infiltrators.
i dislike the talon because its slower to use, but better for low cooldowns (adepts).
both are doing the job though, especially if you use ammo.

Closer than melee range is the optimal range for Piranha
It's stronger than melee so will prefer to shoot, but then really need munitions training reload, otherwise reloading all the time
Without Munitions Training, on something like the Asari Sentinel, the Talon is better

The Piranha is insane but I haven't used it in MEA so far. I would be glad to have weaponry like the Isharay or Vanquisher, but at least I got a Widow on III. It can almost onehit enemies on Gold, I hope one on X can.

It's good in this game though, it seems to be one of the only weapons (other than snipers) that pretty much kept it's damage from me3. But I really want the piranha lol, loved that gun in me3. As to how I got it, just farmed a lot of golds to buy premium packs. |

I would say Piranha unless you're doing melee Vanguard when you might want to shoot > melee > shoot > melee. Talon does a little more damage per shot and is lighter.
