Oh please. I've been pugging gold for a while and 80% of all games are set against Outlaws and most of those are on either Zero or Sandstorm. That thread by Randall hasn't changed anything.
Bioware will look at their stats and very soon Berserkers will be able to sync kill you and Hydras will shoot you through cover. Problem solved.

My gold camping strats netted me four ultra rares last night. I don't feel the least bit bad about it..
FWIW.. when I have to run and gun.. I do just fine as well. I did have 4k hours in ME3MP and come from a FPS background.. so it isn't like just because one decides to team camp, doesn't mean their incapable of playing a mobile playstyle and think in their feet. If that were true, how would objective waves ever get done? I prefer the camping strats because its simpler, and unlike the old FBWGG days, the games end in a timely manner because the enemies in MEA are so aggressive that there is a nonstop stream of stuff to kill. AND there isn't any time spent waiting for the last few rocket troopers or Nemesis' to trickle down off their perch. My camp games are usually around 15-18 minutes. The run and gun games are about a minute faster on average, but that has more to do with everyone playing extremely aggressive kits like Vanguards.
How the hell am I supposed to play the Angaran Insurgent aggressively when my powers are Shield Boost, Trip Mines and lolTurret? The class is MADE FOR TEAM CAMPING. Trip mines for the flank, Shield Boost to give my team +20% damage from rank 6 passive and heal, lol Turret just because I have to have 1 point in it. This power set does not lend itself to aggressive play. I slapped a Hurricane on him and did a run and gun match with him, I was basically a worse Volus, as every power besides Shield Boost didn't make sense for this playstyle. This isn't the only character that I feel this way about too..
So.. if anyone is going to judge people for camping.. seriously.. get the fuck over yourself.

I gave up on arguing about how camping is how you REALLY war back in 3MP.
I lol at the mindset of run and gun. As long as its a game, well ok, but dont try that shit on a real battlefield.
