After my rocketing experience with an Ascendant, I noticed some text in a loading screen.
It says while an Ascendant's Orb was active it was immune to MOST weapons.
That was interesting to me. Why use the word MOST? Must be a way to damage it still before destroying the orb.

I spotted this too. Maybe there's some sort of piercing mod or a specific weapon(s) that may be able to damage him through his barrier. Unless their choice of wording is just really poor, which is possible, considering how bad they are at making animations and writing stories and characters.

Or maybe a certain ammo type? But I agree 100%, could just be simply poor wording on Bioware's part.

Maybe even a specific power or a melee attack that might not be available yet, but in a future dlc. Who thought the speculation would carry on even after the game is released! Did you notice how one of the loading screen mentions "beware of the hydra, it carries powerful ordinance"? I lold. They definitely have some issues with writing.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe bring out Warp ammo or Drill rounds? Yea, some of the text between loading screens is laughable. It's almost like a game now for me. Will the next loading screen blurb be even worse than the last?

It's as if the loading screen blurbs were written by people who know nothing about the game. I imagine they must have outsourced this particular task to a primary school classroom, just like they outsourced the animations to a team of kettles.

The AR one is about as useful as the AR stock. So far only weapon barrels and extended magazines have been useful for me. Although, I did run my Salarian Operator with a Hurricane II (barrel and mag mods) and a Sidewinder with a barrel and scope. It was surprisingly effective. Light, but the Sidewinder with the scope let you reach out and touch enemies that were far away. The Hurricane let you mop up whatever got through. Yet I still had 100% cooldown to spam powers. And please do not disparage kettles in the future. They obviously have more usefulness than the facial animators at Bioware. At least they can boil water properly for tea.

Woah, woah, woah...a hurricane AND a salarian operative? That's quite a lot of ultra rares for just one post! Not sure if I can handle that haha. And not even a hurricane 1, but a 2! I have neither a hurricane nor salarian operative so I'm still waiting for those, though the word around town is that the operative kind of sucks unfortunately. I haven't tried the receiver mod, I don't understand it at all, it doesn't make sense to me. I just use melee blades and anything that increases the damage. Gotta love the new weapon weight/power cooldown system in this game. Even though I agree with someone who posted a thread here recently remarking on the problems with this system and how it makes the game too easy, but I like it. It's nice to be able to carry a lot more weight than in me3 while still having the highest recharge time. I used the sidewinder once and didn't like it at all. I have terrible aim though so maybe that's why. I like anything that has a very large magazine and high rate of fire, because I know I'll miss around 80% of my shots. I will go and apologise to the kettles now, I didn't mean to tarnish their reputation.

His thrown orb can be reflected back at him by Backlash causing the rotating bit to explode By "thrown orb", are you referring to those projectiles that he blasts at you when he has you in his sights? And by "rotating bit", do you mean his orb? Also, what difficulty was this on?

Strip enemies of shields, debuff and set off combos. Spam shield boost to help teammates. Try the pistol scope on the sidewinder. It was allowing for easy headshots...at least on Kett. The range was surprisingly good as well. And for this comment, I am now unfriending you, "I didn't mean to tarnish their reputation" And for missing this one, " I like anything that has a very large magazine".
