Pretty much the title. I've got three distinct play-styles that I enjoy, and I plan to switch between the three of them on a whim, or whatever fits the mission best. Each style has its own armor and weapon type, and I want to plan what my end goal should be for each.
My melee/assassin set has a Dhan Shotgun with a Vintage Heat Sink to trigger the combat melee boost, and a tricked out Asari Sword.
My power spam Engineer set has a Sweeper with the electric circuits mod.
My sniper set has the Isharay for the best 'vintage' one-shot-one-kill style, but I'm not sure what augments I should put into it. Any suggestions to push it over the top in its role?

Whatever you do, don't put the laser augment. It makes it hit like a wet noodle.

I think I did plasma seeking on all of mine, using the grenade mods are probably the worst, range is shortened and so forth... As I said in previous post, I have a currently modded Isharay that does an insane amount of damage to everything, even big armour. Might look at it later to see exactly what I put into it. Maybe remind me Edit: 2 shots an Architects "leg" in Hard.

Vintage Heat Sink + Battlefield Assist Module is probably the best for it right now.
Plasma charge augment limits it's range to short even when charged. the rest are useless on it.

I had heard that Vintage Sink is bad for single shot weapons like the Isharay. Something about it overheating from one shot and 'reloading' slower than just using normal ammo.

It's about the same time as reloading, the difference don't reach 1 second; probably 0.5 sec or less. the infinite ammo is worth it, though. It will still be 1 shot 1 kill, just without ammo restrictions. Vintage Heat Sink reduces the amount of ammo on your clip, so it's actually best to use in 1 ammo/clip weapons. or very ammo wasteful weapons.

Any other notable useful augments for an Isharay aside from the generic common damage increase mods? Electro circuits, fire/ice, etc?

I've tried using all the augments on it. all the augment reduces range except Beam augment & Sticky Grenade. but beam augment reduces a lot of damage done, while sticky grenade means you can't headshot anymore. Electricity, grenade, & plasma charge reduces range significantly. Seeking plasma helps a bit with homing bullets but it's harder to headshot with it.

Grenades on shotgun or the Talon gun is also pretty fun. In all honesty, sticky grenade on sniper rifles is fun but ineffective, but so much fun though. seeking plasma on shotgun also fun & effective, giving shotgun more range & accuracy at even longer range.

The Isharay is already a one shot one kill monster, hardly much you could do to improve it honestly

What about Omni-Converter. I haven't tried the Isharay, but ive slapped it on other 1 shot weapons and works out nicely.

If you look out for your health you can shot with the Isharay shot after shot without wasting time, this was actually quite useful when taking out those annoying ascendants and their balls.

Might kill yourself there. While ya its possible to kill yourself with it, there are ways to manage getting your health back like with that Kett sword. Its not like the Isharay has some crazy fire rate that it'll drain all your health before you know it. The way it turns 1 shot weapons into semi autos though is pretty awesome. Personally I use it on the Ushidr. Turns that pistol into a murder machine.

I'll consider it, although I probably would end up wasting it. I am absolutely someone who reloads as soon as whatever target(s) I was aiming at are dead, even if I have a ton of clip left. It's just muscle memory habit at this point. I even keep trying to reload my Sweeper. So if I had the Isharay auto-reload, I'd probably end up wasting the extra time just out of habit. Zooming out of scope every kill, looking around for a new target while I "reload".

If you can get its clip size to 2 you can still reload after shots and it won't cost you health, leaving you with the option of continuous fire for when needed.

While the gun is cooling, you can cancel the cooling animation by using a power. So basically, the time you otherwise spend reloading, you can use for power attacking. (or tac cloack, for instance).

Although pretty much I Cloak first, then shoot for the damage bonus, so that'd only come up once every few seconds. For full on sniper, I have my robot buddies as my other two abilities to provide extra bodies and to help keep things off me.

Also, I'd be remiss not to mention it: if you use the adrenaline fusion mod, cloak instantly resets upon a cloacked snipe kill. So you can clock-snipe forever.
