I haven't tried many yet but starting a list would be helpful.
What is really bad and should not be used atm?

I hear the soned and valkyrie are pretty decent, especially on a power build that relies on biotic combos.

I am currently using the Equalizer, it feels like a Collector SMG with limited range. But infinite ammo and it triggers to shoot enemies within your annihilation field (for the debuff). This is currently my favorite weapon in MP.
The Widow is also decent, it already onehits some enemies.

Maybe just try to find some weapons that are *really* bad first, it's hard to say if something is "pretty good", it might be or not be, but as long as you're not taking absolute crap into a match "just to try it out". Would be helpful to have a list of "avoid". For example I hear Carnifex is absolute crap now, is that true?

I heard ME:A Claymore was so abysmal that the devs agreed it's better to remove it alltogether.

OR... you could just list the handful of weapons that are actually useful which means: avoid the rest if you can.

High powered sniper rifles (Vanquisher, etc.) are so OP everything else seems weak sauce by comparison.
Been using the new weapons mostly so couldn't say if Mattock, Widow, etc are any good.
I like the Ruzad but hit detection in this game is so iffy only half of my shots are registering from point blank range off host same with venom but when it does hit it's alright for an uncommon but it's no claymore that's for sure. Disciple is the best non rare shotgun imo.

Shadow is considered good but not Isharay? I have both of them on lvl 1 and I don't see a reason why would I ever want to consider picking Shadow over Isharay, which hits pretty damn hard if I can say so. So.. wut?

I would say both of them are weak. If you have vanquisher I and an Isharay V you will pick the Vanquisher unless you are doing some stealth single shot buff build. Vanqusher does more than half damage per shot and has 4 shots per clip instead of 1.

I started a match as a Turian Soldier with a Sandstorm once and quit halfway through the first round to put myself out of my misery. Would have had better success trying to stab the enemies in the eye with my dick than shoot them with that piece of horseshit.

Based on threads here: (Yellow = many agree they are good. Red = some say they are good.) Seems reasonable except the snipers. Widow, Valiant, Black Widow, Isharay at least should be red. Incisor and Lanat are also debatable. Snipers are obviously the superior class of weapon in this game. I'm confused about Shadow though, that thing is one of the worst weapons in the game imo.

Yes, when you start with a new account and somebody gives you a choice between Viper I, Shadow I and Isharay I the best choice for the first few days is probably picking an infiltrator with Isharay and go to town one-shotting things.

I'm liking the Black Widow. Have top scored quite a bit with it in Gold. I don't have Vanquisher or Shadow to compare it with. It is weaker than the ME3 BW, and you get 4 shots out of it instead of 3. Great for fast Mook killing. Bit weak on the big enemies though.
The Lanat is a confusing Sniper Rifle. It is quite strong when charged up, but there is a stupid delay on it and you spend more time thinking about what the gun is doing/not doing than shooting the enemy.
I think the Widow is very powerful. Great for boss enemies. But a waste because you can't afford to miss with it, having only a one bullet mag. Teammates usually kill most targets by the time you line up the shot.

It needs to be changed to work like Widowmaker's rifle works in Overwatch with automatic charge up based on scoped in time.

Cyclone is OK with Turbocharge but I wouldn't bring it in Gold Scattershot is nice too, plus than infinite ammo But I still rely on my Charger X for sustained DPS My biggest disappointment are the semi-auto weapons, especially the one from ME3 : Phalanx, Carnifex and Mattock (that I used to love) shoot one bullet every five mouse clicks (I tend to blast my mouse like Dave Suzuki on adrenaline rush)

Vanqusher does more than half damage per shot and has 4 shots per clip instead of 1. Yess but isharay even at level 1 can one shot kill stuff. You cant always be out of cover for all those 4 shots. Quite many times i soloed Gold waves with it (Remnant and Kett) when everyone around me died. In such scenarios its just better to come out of cover one shot kill and get back to cover. For example when theres 3 observers around you with their lasers. Plus with turbocharge you can make it a two shot gun. Isharay must be at least in the red category, but has his place in the yellow if you ask me. In ME3 we also had Valiant,Black Widow and Javelin and nobody argued all have their place amongst the best guns in the game. Who preferred what was just personal preference. I also have the Raptor for example thats marked as yellow and i would take an Isharay any day over it with ANY kit. Unless weight is an issue. So this spreadsheet is just not right.

It doesn't bode well for the state of weapons in this game that the two new additions are huge pieces of crap (ruzad and halberd). It's almost as if they're not listening at all :poop:

I hear the soned and valkyrie are pretty decent, especially on a power build that relies on biotic combos. Valkyrie n7 unlocked at me at my first pack from the preorder or deluxe and I absolutely hate it, weak and innacurate with terrible recoil.
